Ad addition to no. 8, if your specific Wookie friend isn't good company, they do make great rugs and you don't need an adhersive.

I'm thankful for a number of things, four things that just pop out at me are:
1) Thankful that the devs nerfed the auto pull of materials from crates when slicing - I was just doing the slicing too fast previously and people would say "Hey, why should I give you money for only a few seconds work" Now, it takes much longer and the customer has a sense of "Hey, he's really working"
2) Teaching us a valuable life lesson - while some people will say "Devs have a history of broken promises" I say "Nonsense - the devs have taught us that you just shouldn't accept a persons word at face value, that there are a lot of dubious people out there, and that actions speak much louder than words" I for one appreciate this lesson and applaude the devs for knowingly take a large amount of flack simply to teach us this.
3) For giving us the underworld tree - while some of us not involved in the GCW might think of this as an utter and complete waste of a tree - I like to think that this was the Zen tree, as you get each box, you get nothing - or do you? Sense of accomplishment? It's teaching us that a smuggler sometimes works for nothing - ever hear of smugglers dumping cargos? Yep, that's right - they're working and have nothing to show for it - a true Zen Tree.
4) Spices - they're foods, yet they're not experimentable. How could this be? This is simply the devs giving us more of a worldview. Yes, they're teaching us now about different societal structures. In this case they're teaching us about Communism and Capitalism. Think about it "All Spice is Equal, it is all the same" No one can create better spices, no one can create worse spices - it's all the same. Where does Capitalism come in? Well, it takes a good salesman to sell the same crates of Muon to someone for 10K a factory crate while the same crate is probably 2K on the bazaars. A broken tree? No, I say it's just another tree of learning.
5) I'm thank for the Devs for giving Smugglers an almost parental responsibility. Some parents have to tell their children that "Dear, this is no Santa" or "The Easter Bunny doesn't exist" and then watch them cry. Drawing from this real life experience the Devs build this function into the game. How you ask? Why simple - when a noob comes up to you with a locked container asking you to slice it because "I've heard it has ubber l33t stuff inside" You can almost see the crestfallen face through the monitor as you hand back their survival knife and CDEF pistol. Sure they go through denial "YOU STOLE IT" but through patience, you can help guide teach these players, much like a parent teaching their spawn "No Billy, there is no tooth fairy, and locked containers usually blow"
So for all this, and possibly much more, I would like to thank the developers. And to Tralita_tusnami - I've tried to keep this positive, my apologies if it comes across differently
Cheers - and Happy Thanksgiving to all y'all - and to the Developers (really!)
Dat.

ThanksGiving is an American holiday in the last third of November, a feast held roughly on the anniversary of a feast between colonists and Native Americans.

Its called ThanksGiving because relatives, old friends and new get together and celebrate what they're Thankfull for and what God has given them. However, its not just a religious holiday, I simply listed God for two reasons. #1, The colonists were Christians. #2, I'm a Christian. Other families of other religions(or none) celebrate what thier diety has brought to them, or what life has brought to them. Many use ThanksGiving as a reason to bring families together, and many use it as a reason to eat turkey, pumpkin pie, and basicly just PIG OUT .

Sarcasim? Well that has a negative connotation, and the one thing I've learned from the Naritus forum is that negative posts lead to banning (from what I've been told), therefore I have no idea what any of you are talking about, as my post came from the heart!

Funny enough, the only one of those points I actually believe was the Underworld "Zen Tree" after each box I'd chant "I have gained a level, I have advanced, I have gained nothing" then went back to Yavin 4 to kill Klickniks.

But keeping in the spirit of positivity, I will say this, after hanging out with number of different professions during my time playing this game (since day 1 of the blasted thing) I've come to appreciate hanging out with other Smugglers more than any other class, because there's some sort of weird defective gene in long term Smugglers that just make for cool players, or players who can see the absurdity in things. So, to my fellowlong suffering, poor b**tard Smuggler kin,

/salute

Cheers
