Answering questions about the Smuggler profession is not Tomo's job. He don't even have to post here, he do so because he want to, period.

On a related topic, let's avoid jumping on the correspondant's backs because of lack of communication induced frustration. It is not their fault, if anything it must be VERY frustrating for them to. Most of the time they don't know much more than we do, and when they DO, they have a NDA tying their hands.

Oh I know Saarek, I know hehe

It is not just that one guy tho, once in a while someone lash out in frustration at the Corrs. But we are good here at protecting Wes's back.

Well..... tar and feathered providing there are enough people around/left to do it

As for Tomo and Wes - the guys simply rock - just finished reading Tomo's POB discussion on the Pilot forum and it was awesome, made absolute sense, so it was a little heartbreaking because as we all know Devs don't read things that make sense.

So while some people may call them out - I'm sure a number of people here have their backs.

Cheers

Oh no not this again. Do you really think that all the correspondents are devs? Well, if you can prove I and the other correspondents are devs, then SOE may start paying us that dev salary.

Since this thread is a dupe of another I will dupe my post:

Having had a similar experience with another MMORPG I can tell you that the Corrs probably speak to Tiggs and TH far more than they do to any actual devs. I would also say that in all reality there is probably a top secret group of triple NDA'd players that the devs actually listen to who have a major hand in deciding the fates of professions that they don't really play on the live game. Its just the way these things are done. Probably the names won't be ones that you see much, if at all here on the regular forums. Most likely they are people that have been around since beta.

I can also say that as frustrated as we, the playerbase are, each and every correspondent is at least 10 times as frustrated, because they volunteered to do a job to aid SOE with SWG and are ignored just as much, if not more than we are. The reason that Corrs usually dont last long and end up quitting the game after or during their term is that they see first hand how much our opinions dont mean a thing and they quit out of sheer frustration. I feel sorry for them, its a tough and thankless job that for all they can tell is completely ignored by the people they are doing it for. Corr is a job that requires above all else, the patience of a saint. Villifying them does absolutely no good, since they are the only people that regularly get a remote chance to bat for us at all, aside from the "Secret" group of players the devs actually correspond with.
