Uh what did I do before I stopped logging in? I did EVERYTHING but smuggle to try and make up for that omission. Politician, parties, master pilot, 2 trees from jedi, mastered smuggler twice, fencer twice, commando, BH, carbineer, artisan, tkm, rifleman, uh, probably something else... brought down factional bases, participated in GCW combat, group hunts, nightsister farming pre-cu, I made 15 lootkits in 2 weeks, I'm a senator in my guild, built a tavern in my large nabooian...
uh, kashyykian questing...

ALL the themeparks, rebel and imperial...
7 of the 9 corvettes...
hm, anything else I missed there. You name it, chances are I've at least given a shot at it.
They say when you reach 100 badges you've "beaten the game" or as close to that as you can come to it. All I need to do to "beat the game" is start prof grinding.
PRE-ROTW I had all the badges except for a couple corvettes, and some professions.
And now, there's basically nothing.

Before CU and the last few versions I use to do a lot of slicing and you could equip yourself to be a fair solo player. You could also do some role playing, my house office and the space yaht were good for that.
Between CU and verision 19 - nerfing of the root special. I was a good hunting partner and could do "crowd control".
Now you are right without content there is not much to do. I hate the new smuggling routine, it is just too much trouble although I still will do work for friends. Now it is mostly just role playing but there is not much of that. Although I would think that there could be a good market for spice which does have some nice underworld action.

At the risk of sounding exceedingly boring...
- Decorate my house with junk
- Decorate my ship with junk
- Chat... a lot...
- Attempt to solo quests
- Attempt to explain the new slicing system to someone, usually with mixed results
- Beg people to help me with quests after I fail them
- Sit around and wait for people to help with quests, but they are too busy
- Roam around Coronet, Theed and Mos Eisley for seemingly no reason at all
- Shop... a lot...
- Frequent certain cantinas in search of Entertainers that aren't AFK
- Admire previously mentioned junk in house and ship
- Go to Endor in search of Gorax - look for well over an hour with no luck, knowing full well that even if I did find one I don't have the ability to kill it myself.

I let new players take screenies with me, and if they're cool, I let them watch me not smuggle.

i run a PA. it's very time consuming. we're nice tight knit family. we go on hunts, grind together, fly together.
if i didnt have them....i would have left long ago.

RP, PvP, loot hunt, hunt jedi, slice (hey, I'm making a killing so I don't mind), RP some more, space...I keep pretty busy.
