I have a laptop next to me while I play with my slice formulas in a spreadsheet, I just eneter the dam (for weapons) or base eff (for armor) and then the slice % and it toals everything up.

My story.

An Imp, who destroyed one of my bases, sent me a tell asking if I'd slice his new rifle. I told him I charge 2k per % sliced. He agreed to this. So I go over to him (I was heading back there anyways) and I slice his junk. 17% speed slice on a rifle. I told him I got a 20% speed slice on it. So, he tips me 2k. I told him my prices again, so he tips me 48k (he owes me 40k). He paid me an extra 10k.

Here's the kicker.

13k for the rifle. The same vendor offers sliced rifles for 26k. He paid me 50k to slice his weapon.

That will teach the Imps lol

Last night being the smuggler I am I 'accidently' miss-sliced a weapon and ended up buggering it up.

I told the guy I sliced it and he never said a word. lol

I'm not dihonest just trying to make a few creds.

Here's a guy who can justify any crime as being ok.
"I robbed a bank. I'm not dishonest, I just needed the creds"

I had a guy offer me 500k if I sliced his ub3r acklay stun baton for over 25% damage.. And what do you know, I hit 27% damage. Imagine my suprise when he actually put 500000 creds in the trade window. He just sat there and stared at his new stun baton for about 10 minutes admiring it.

Btw.. Kauri Rebels run if you see Bender. He's got a sick stun bat

Last night I had the following happen to me. I was standing in the eternally long one-doc-in-coronet buff line when I see the following spam roll by: "Looking for master smuggler to slice some weapons.. will pay well."
I standing at the back of a long line so I figure Why Not?
I send him a tell telling him I am a master smuggler and where I am.

At which point he comes over and tells me: "I have two rifles.I will pay you 10K each. Iwill pay you50K for any weapon if you getover 30% Damage slice."

He passes me two DXR-6b rifles.
First one: 30% SPEED slice.... damm!
Second one: 25% Damaga slice.

I pass them back, and he puts 30K in the window and says "Those were pretty decent slices.. thanks.".

The most I ever made were 60k for a compo suit.

I charged 200 / % back then but finally realized that it doesn't matter for myself if I take that or just plain 5k flat. People complained more about 200/% than for 5k so I guess I will stick, after that's less math for me


The best deal ever was a rebel who asked me to sell 100k fp (yes 100.000 faction points!) The only thing I regret is that I wasn't at colonel, otherwise I would have earned even more. I charged 125 creds/fp, and after we were done he gave me 1 million as a bonus. That were about 3.5 millions IIRC in 2 hours of clicking. And one of the two times I ever sold faction points at all (not that I never wanted to, no one buys rebel faction.)

Did Han agree to save Liea for the FP or the credits? Yeah I thought so.

Standing at the Coronet Starport waiting for the shuttle, I decided to Spam out "Selling boxes of Muon PST". One person , come up and asks how much and I reply "For a box of 25, 5K.". The shuttle comes in and in a rush we open the trade window , he gives me 25K for the box of muon.and then closes the deal and runs on the ship.

Now, Roleplaying as a true dis-honest and cheating smuggler, I kept the cash. One born every minute.
