Just to clear something up since I've seen it posted many times now. In ESB, Luke didn't use a DL-44. He used the Merr-Sonn "Power 5". It was developed in response to the success of the DL-44 and looked a lot like it. Power wise, the DL-44 and the Power 5 were very comparable, the Power 5 was a bit more fragile however.
Just to clear something else up both Han and Luke are using C96 Mauser MachinePistols with a bunch of junk glued to them to make them look "Hi-Tec"

I hear FWG5's are converting nicely. My 550 geonosian blaster and 650 DE-10 are NOT. I have a 2.3s 220 (unpupped) DX-2 that almost nearly converts better than my 3.4s 495 (unpupped) DE-10. Talk about some f'ing garbage.
I will tell you the DX-2's are converted VERY nicely.
