No dice... /chatroom join SWG.Starsider.Chat.SIN didn't meet with any success from Bria.

I joined yesterday...but was all alone all day...
And it sucks that we can't join channels from other galaxies. I mean...we can /t and /r back and forth to other galaxies, why not join other chat channels?

I looked around the forums and, in theory, you can join chat channels across servers, just noone here has gotten it to work(myself included).

I have one set up on Lowca(Lowca.Chat.smg - The Smuggler's Hold), and tried to get not only Smugglers, but people that want Smuggler's services to join, but people seemed to think I was trying to recruit for a guild... :?

Heh...I joined up with Tomo on the SS Smuggler channel last night...that was pretty fun...
I was setting up some Imperial furniture for display in my house, since I'm going into the Imp surplus business, and he wanted to come see it...the convo went something like this:
Me: I have Imp furniture set up in my houseif you care to come take a look.
Him: Cool, where is it?
Me: Just outside of cnet...WP -XXX -XXXX
[long pause]
Him: You call that just out of Cnet?
Him: Talk about the sticks...
Me: Hey...I'm a Smuggler...what'd you expect?

He's only like 2.3km out of Coronet, but I swear it feels like the ghetto when you're used to traveling no more than 800-1000m from the city. It's like Oh damn, headed to Dreven's, where's the Club for my swoop..
That line about being a smuggler put it all in perspective, though. And I suppooooose that despite the extra 60 seconds it takes me to get there, it's still a great shop.
Anyway, any other Starsider smugglers, feel free to hop on SIN. Still a little empty over here.

The Starsider chat channel (SIN) has gotten pretty good. There's almost always 3 or 4 "regulars" in there.
