Honestly I wouldn't waste my money.

Actually you would be suprised at how many detailed answers and all around good conversations took place at the last one thanks to Veela and Joras. They really represented us well and were able to get more answers and info for those few days then we got here in a few months.

Don't underestimate the power of facing them with their failures in plain site for all to bear witness. Right Veela? Fishy? Hell even Caylin from the summit!

I'll be there, and more of a Dev annoyance than I was last year (and that is actually saying alot). Wes, you had better go, Yimaz as well. For those wondering if you get straighter answers, I'd say yes. It's harder for them to dodge a question when it's popped on them and they don't have days to forumulate a responce. >-)

Actually, you may want to coordinate tactics. One of you will have to keep Tyrant away from the rest of the devs while another of you corners JustG with flashcards explaining what a capital S and lowercase s really are. And even a third will be needed to remove the ballgags from the rest of the devs on the team.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. Googled a bit and the "Games Convention" (not "Game Show") is from the 19. August to the 22. August. I hope I can make it.

We couldn't play SWG without Tiggs. Now we can =)

i'll be headed for the german "fest". just ask me again when near august, and hand me a list. i'll be sure ot follow devs around, and keep asking them questions.. maybe even with a large camera near us, taping the whole thing to impress the devs and make it harder for them to think fast (/evilgrin)

I almost hate to point this out - but look at how much has been done for us in the YEAR between fan fests. Pin them down all you like, they can promise you the moon and absofrigginlootly guarantee that we're next on the revamp list - but it won't matter because once they get back to the office, its business as usual and we're forgotten about.

Hate to be the gloomy gus here, but seriously, confronting them last year did about as much good for our profession as sending a letter to Santa.
