I think the point here SdeWndr is that if you did that same faction purchase 10 times per night, you might think twice or wanting to do it all the time. For many smugglers this is their main form of income in a spiceless world. You have to admit the process is very tedious, and having the limits we have now seem fairly silly compared to the scaleability of everything else.

You also need to realize that this "fix" is coming solely from the fact that they are removing the recursive macros. If it wasn't for that, we wouldn't be getting anything. This is a get this vs. nothing situation. Suggesting that this not be done in leiu of other more important fixes isn't relevant.

It's always best to push for these fixes or changes when the devs have them on their mind. If we don't jump on it like Caylin did (although this is a personal grudge of his, I know) then it wouldn't be done at least until the Revamp, and then they would come up with the excuse of "well you've been fine without it this long, you don't really need it".

As a solution I am in favor of Caylin's idea of using the resource container "slider" concept of using the slider to choose the amount you want to obtain.

This is all good in Love and War..

My Idea,,

Make a section in all cantina's that only a smuggler and their invited party can Go,, let Buyiing of faction happen in that area and set it up that the smuggler can Buy the ammount of faction they wish to transfer and the prucahse of the faction includes the transfer amount and the small Bonus that the smuggler get's when he buy's faction...

For example I go in to the Den and take in the Client..

" Hi ya Snowtigre I have heard thru the underground that you sell faction point's.." say tyrone..

" I might sell faction who refered you to me" Snowtigre..

" Oh yssai the leader of KoRE" say's Tyrone.

" Ok, yes I do know Yssai.. How may I help you, how much faction are you after, and which faction Rebel imperial or hutt faction " Say Snowtigre in a Low whisper..

"Oh I'm after Rebel faction their can you help me out" say's Tyrone quietly..

"Ok Follow me.." say's SnowTigre as he lead's tyrone into the back corridor's of the cantina..

"Ok how much faction do you want to get" say's SnowTigre on entrying the room with the rebel recuiter..

"I need 40K of faction Please" say's Tyrone..

"Ok that will cost you 5.9 mil incred's" say's SnowTigre.. [ 1fp = 1.25credt's ]

5.9 mil is transfered to Snowtigre's Inventory..

SnowTigre converse with the rebel recuiter and purchases47.5k offaction.. This figure takes into account the fact that as a Colonel in the rebellion you Lose .18 faction for every 1 FP trnasfered..

"Ok tyrone here is the 40k of faction you are after, may you have fun and may you kill plenty of Imp's.." say Snowtigre as he quietly slip's out the door..

This whole transaction should happen in minute's not a long time..and it need's to be as painless as Possible.. I like the Window the ID's Got but their whole system is so painfull and 2 long..

So that is my Thought's on the System..

Side ISSUE..

Allow the MASTER Smuggler to be able to go out and buy the FACtion them Selve's Remove the Cap on the Smuggler. make it so another master Smuggler does not need to enter into the transaction at all.. If a master Smuggler Does this and does not transfer the faction to another Player they Go on the Bountyhunter Terminal's.. Make the Area's [ DEN's ] where you Buy faction just that.. you can onlybuy faction in their you may not buy anything else.. The Den's are only accessible By 2 class's Master Smuggler's & hi invited Guest and Master Bounty Hunter's.. The Den may not be camped by the BH's and the Master Smuggler only Goes on the BH Terminal's once they move 500m from the Den..

If you wish to go out and buy faction equipment you need to go out and buy the faction equipment off a factionrecuiter..

If the Master smuggler wishes to buy other faction's FP's when they are -ve faction the Cost of the -ve faction is added onto the cost of the faction.. Ok Snowtigre has -5000 rebel faction point's and he want's to go out and buy 30k fp imperial faction then he has to pay for 35k of faction point's to get the 30k of faction also the buying of the faction does not make his imperial faction go to 0.. it will stay at -5000 till hespecificly goes out and get's 5000 imperial faction point's transfered to him by a Imperial Smuggler..

- the same goes for the possible 3rd faction..

Ok Guy's that is my thought's on the system.. make so WE the Master Smuggler's can buy more that 500fp and make it Quick.. Let the master Smuggler go out and Buy the faction that our Guild's need for the NEW faction BASE but as a consquence of doing so we can be hunted By Master BH's.. These mission are only valid for 24hr's thou and if not completed in that time frame they self destruct..
