Wasn't this whole rebalance and move to a consolidated "health" bar explicitly done so we wouldn't have to chose between 'killing ourselves with our specials or killing ourselves because we're not using specials'?

(sorry, had to take another jab at the pile of nonsense they think they can feed us)

Which is why it does more damage when you're almost dead, so that you won't open up with it. The Health Cost is to keep people from spamming it. So far, this is the only attack known to spend Health when used.

That really was my point... it was more a jab at the BS justifications we've gotten for the design of things (i'm not terribly upset about ham changes in general though, more resists changes.. but that's another story)

As for justification for HP loss.. i can give it to you for a pile of things.. everything from rifle/commando recooil to melee finishing moves (that aren't panicy despiration moves like LD).. all are good and make sense to me, but it just puts us bakc in the same boat as before.
