Its usefull. It gives me access to a wide array of crowd control specials and two seperate roots(Concussion Shot and Stopping Shot), plus some of the higher damage attacks in Carbine for when you wanna reach out and touch someone. An added bonus is that if I wanna stay back a bit, I can get up to fifty meters away and start using my carbines to lay the hurt on someone. Its a good combination of Crowd Control, decent damage dealing, and kiting.

It also helps that all ranged attacks can now be used with any weapon, so I can set my roots as close as I want or up to max carbine distance(while I can technically pick up a couple rifles for full range, I wouldn't be proficient enough for that extra fifteen meters to matter much for me).

And the really interesting thing, is that I've taken all three points of the Crowd Control diagram. Mezzer(Smuggler), Attack Control(Pistoleer), and Position Control(Carbineer).

Yeah, they killed my DE 10, too. Appears that many krayted weapons are now worse than their average, non-krayted counterparts.

I am hoping this is a bug.

oh, BTW I'm diggin on my new scoped renegade blaster and with a nice 7% slice (lol)it's up to 817 max damage. I think my next weapon to buy will be a flame throwerjust because I always wanted to set things on fire....FIRE....FIRE...heeheehee.....
