First off, my appologies to Frank if this seems to hijack you.
To all military persons. I am in no waya 'Tree huggin' Hippie'. However, please do not veiw all protests as protests against you. There are some but, like Frank, I will not coment on them as I too have served in this countries military. I do feel that many protests are more targetting the idea of war in general, the government and the governments use of our military (you fine men and women) to control other countries/governments. I have never and will never be part of a protest of our military. I will support thesoldiers 100%.I feel in the minds of many protestors, they believe they are supporting you. They are just expressing their anger for the governments decissions and their fear for you.Like many of us, they want you home and out of harms way. Keep your heads down and be safe.
Again. Sorry Frank.
Second.
Dear Santa,
Please bring Frank some more free time to write. He has been a very, very, very good boy and weall He realy deserves it.

Thanks for all the wonderful stories, FrankLee!
I've spent the last two work days stealing time in the office to read these. =)
On my way home, I was thinking about people that I would love to show these to. I just got invited to a theatre showing of a star wars fan film, which may be helping with the list of people
Keep up the good work!

Frank is getting buried at work.
We supply a great deal of aerospace material to various manufacturers. After 9/11, the aerospace industry went in the tank, and they cut the staff I belong to from 1 manager and 4 chemists to 1 manager and 3 chemists. A year later, they cut us to 1 manager and 2 chemists, with the manager covering one shift as a chemist. Mind you, this is in a 24-hour operation.
Well, we just got the word that we'll be going back to 7-day weeks (that 21 production shifts) and we re-hired our lost chemist, and are looking to re-up the position we lost 3 (going on 4) years ago.
What does this mean to Dallet? It means I've been busting my hump to try to keep up with raw material analysis and production support. We also changed facility supervision, and have had a record number of analyses for going on a month...
Enough whining. I've had half of Dallet 2.9 done for weeks, I'll see if I can't get more done soon. The plot is never far from my mind, and there's not a night I don't go to sleep thinking about where I want to go. In a way, it's damning because I know what the next 5 stories are going to be about, but finishing 'Buzzard' is taking forever.
Thanks for the bumps, I'll get back on the job.

Hey, good to hear it.
Actually, if this episode were as long as the previous ones, it'd be done already. I got to work on it last night, and blew past my previous length maximum quickly. I expect this one will be about double the normal length. Got lots to do.
I just got swamped with analyses, but I expect the next installment to come out soon.
