Other professions deserve to be fixed as well.... not just your Jedi grind.

Great thread.

Any time we being major work on a profession, we generally hit the forums first looking for 'state of the profession'-type posts.

We don't have any specific details to announce about our plans for SL just yet.

We've begun work on fixing-up the profession - you're likely to see improvements somewhere around publish 24 or 25.

Keldarin's been catching-up on all the stickies here and he'll be ready to talk about what changes are coming pretty soon.

Glad to seeyou Squad Leaders getting somevalid feedback regarding changes toyour profession from the Development Team. You guys are inneedof just as much help as Smugglers, and I am truly happy to see you guys getsome much-deserved attention. I only wish we could get someone like JFreeman to address our issues...or communicate with us...in our forum. Instead, we get vaguestatements and unfulfilledconcepts. But I didn't come here tocomplain...

Keep up the good work JFreeman! I always look forward to reading your posts...and seeing what you have fixed

Best of luck Squad Leaders! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you guys

Heheh yah Smugglers saw posts like that 2 years and 12 patches ago. I hope you really do get some love but, I wouldn't hold my breath. If it goes according to SOE's modus operandi they will say they are working on fixes, then they are working on dialogue for the fixes, then the fixes were more intensive than they originally planned, then the fixes are being back-burnered to fix some other more important crap, then the fixes are being worked into a patch with a whole bunch of fixes that will make everyone happy, then your fixes will occur immediately after the next content publish, then they will say that they never promised you any fixes and start banning people for saying how you've been screwed.

Good Luck.

Thanks J, if there's anything us SL's can clarify feel free to ask us and hopefully some of us will give you some insite into what we see ourselves as and who we are and not just complain, though I can say I understand where we're coming from.

Best: That WOW factor when I first started playing. Gone now.

Worst: The fact that someone thought that a system could be devisedin which Jedi would be rare without instituting hard caps and/or permanent death. The fact that someone could possibly think that you could install an alpha class in a competitive game and not have that alpha class dominate the competitive play is worse than short-sighted. (BTW, slowing progress will only postpone the problem, it won't fix anything.)

How does a SquadLeader earn XP? That group you're getting togeather for the DWB would most assuradly prefer a Master SquadLeader with all the bonuses, bells, and whistles.. right? How are you, as a SquadLeader going to make it there if nobody is grouping due to the XP change?

Perhaps you should check your skill sheet Ka-oan. SL XP no longer exists, we level through Pistol XP now.

Not saying I like it.. Just sayin that's how it is. Novice to Master SL on nothin but Pistol XP.

OOOOOoooohhhh. I honestly had no idea they changed that. How silly. N/M then.. I guess you guys will level just like the rest of us.

Best: The potential of this game

Worst: That potential being used on Jedi.

Best: The potential to "live the greatest adventure in the Star Wars universe....yours"

Worst: Seeing that those who choose the direction of this game think that Jedi is the only adventure anyone wants to live.

Oh, and I liked this thread better in the SL forums.
