As I understand it she's not a dev, she is just the messanger reporting the change information that she's been given, and for that she seems to get most of the player hate and anger focused on her. So the original intent of this thread was to let her know that we think she's doing a good job considering that she's not the one programming in all the bugs but taking all the blame for them.

You're right about her not being a Developer. She's a Community Relations type person.


Yet, she is doing next to nothing to Relate to the Community in the past few weeks, during a time when there are a lot of questions to be answered. So if she can't help with bugs/design, does not have any impact on prioritizing features or bug fixes, and does not relate to the community, what the heck does she do all day? Post a daily bug/issue thread that doesn't result in any fixes anyways?

Well it seems to me that SOE likes to use NDAs ALOT, askTomo or Wesand they will tell you that they are under an NDA and can not talk about any information they get from SOE unless they have SOE's permission to post it. So I believe that Tiggs is under the same type of gag order, which is basically tying her hands about what she can/can't post. It's not her faultif her bossesare hampering her job. All I'm trying to say isfolksshouldthink about the conditions that she's working in before theystart saying stuff like "Death to Tiggs".

As CR lead, does that mean she works inside SOE HQ in San Diego? I saw this green jeep witha "Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons..." bumper sticker on it. Almost had her sig word for word, I think Thou was a You or something like that. There was a 40 year old guy driving it though, so I didn't think much of it.


And yeah, I can totally sympathise with anyone who has to deal with a bunch of whining customers who think they're more important than anyone else in the world. Anyone who's had a customer service position knows that if you take a few seconds to talk to the person and let them know you're listening to want they want, they usually calm down.


I think all CSRs, Tiggs, even some devs should have to spend atleast 1 hour on the boards a day, on a single thread or multiple threads, discussing things with players. Make it the same hour too, that way every single player won't bombard one rep. And if anything came up that they couldn't talk about, all they'd have to say is 'NDA' and players can move on, atleast knowing that someone read what they said.
