So Dev, we have a craftable pistol and a carbine, will we ever have a craftable rifle certified at Master level instead of the T21?
Also, this may be the least important question, but is there a Role Icon that's for SLs or is it whatever you want?
Or what about some sort of Mind Buff or something nothing like Doctor Buffs mind you, but for like Boost Morale or something that will add Accuracy or Speed? You're down in the dumps with your squad, you're SL gives a compelling speech that the enemy must be taken out so your side wins and poof, you're morale is heightened by your SL, you shots are placed better, you're trigger happy now and you have a renewed reason to fight.
And since we already get a group accuracy and group damage bonus, what about a group cover/conceal/camoflage bonus as well? Not to take away a Rifleman's bonus, but to enhance it, since we are a "Group Enchancement Specialists".
As a Group Enhancement Specialist, change /sysgroup to /radiogroup? It's a pointless change, but would keep the same lines as what an SL is.
I'm adding on to existing questions of mine instead of making a separate post for each idea.
(simple, but it's also 4:45am for me and I need to sleep here in a few)

Alright gang, Tiggs will be back on Monday and we really need to put our heads together to get some more ideas (new ones, if at all possible, look for some of _scout_'s links for some (if not all) ideas that have been preiviously discussed) flowing their way.
(Now dropping most of the communication stuff, despite it still burns on my mouth/fingers. )
- did you read Sushi's "State of the Profession" posting?
- can we please have passive group-modifiers which are worth it and have them show up on the team as buff-symbols?
- can you please put those additional passive group-modifiers into the leader box, so this one finally has some reason to be taken?
- can we please have some crowd control features? (I still would love to see the flash grenade and concussion grenade...)
- can you please improve steadyaim at least that much that using it is not bad for your team? (We can -prove- that the thing is faulty. My only gripe about the "state of the profession" posting, the "community believes" is makes it too vague considering that we have the maths done.)
- can you please make boostmorale an ability worth to be used?
- can you please adjust retreat. Either rename it to charge (and give the burstrun to the leader, too) or change the functionality a bit. There were good suggestions around, how to really make it a retreat.
- There as a very nice satelite reconaissance thread around. Is it somehow possible that it could ever be implemented? How high/low are the chances for that?
- There are many ideas and suggestions on the forum here,they go between very small fixes and improvements to slowly but steadily (babysteps) bring the profession to a great state and concepts to completely rework it. Can you please let us know what scale of improvements (if any, i somehow dare to doubt it) you are ready to implement on the SL? We then can focus on appropriate suggestions for the suggested scale, if you don't have the ideas, we can deliver a big load of them, cut to nice and easy pieces and fitted to just the right size of change, whenever you ask for them. [Oki, if you give pretty new specifications, give us a week to go over them...

heh heh I have a few questions...
1) How does one go about trying to work for you guys? I have exellent qualifications!
2) Why is it there is no advertisement for all the thousands of little missions around the game? I hear people say all the time how there's nothing to do, but their problem usually is that they just don't know about all the fun things there really are!
Along with the issues and ideas posted in here about our profession, what sort of discussions (that you are at liberty to discuss) have taken place in your offices about Squad Leader? Just a little curious. ![]()
And don't feel obligated to save up all the info for 1 monster post.. We'ld be perfectly happy with little tidbits as they become available. In fact, we'ld be happier.
