I'm sorry, please, show me my illogic, and lack of forsight. Look here, chico:

This is why I repeat myself SOOOO much in this debate. Because you NEVER listen and you NEVER learn.

1) This patch is not a "smuggling patch." Agreed. For about the ZILLIONTH time, but apparently it never sinks in or you never get tired of HEARING it.

2) It DOES have to do with smuggling. Contraband was instituted. As well as a means to evade the contraband. It was included in the Underworld Tree. In the SMUGGLER profession. So I guess it DOES have something to do with smuggling after all, huh?

3) Now this is where the causal chain begins, so if you can, TRY and pay attention. This system makes a very convenient base for building a system of REAL smuggling off of. You GOT THAT? Allow me to elaborate. I'll keep it simple and in small pieces, I know how you hate to read.

a) it offers, for the first time, a mechanic for illegality and consequence to contraband

b) we WILL be getting a revamp soon.

c) we've asking since beta for the abillity to smuggle

d) the devs like building off of current systems.

Can you argue that ANY of that is, if not "dead on balls" accurate, at least likely or probable?

4) IF this is true THEN (the most basic logical construct, thought you'd have recognized it by now) whatever system they build will have TWO automatic "backdoors" into it.

a) being a "high ranking" Imperial

b) owning lots of droids

5) Players like things that help them. They like things that make them money, save them money, get them power. The old axiom of the MMO business is "Players will take the road they percieve to be easiest to obtain the most power at the expense of everything including fun and immersion."

6) IF it's true that we get the abillity to smuggle, and it's all that we've dreamed of, the devs came through, huzzah huzzah, and it makes money and/or it's prohibitive for non-smugglers THEN people will use said back doors in number 4 (I know, refering back to a former point, now you have to RE-read, horror of horrors) because of number 5.

7) They won't want to give it up. Ever. The devs may or may not go to bat for us. You wanna bet they will? I don't.

8) It would have been easier and less painful for all if the contraband portion at least had been re-examined before being thrown out, in the context of whatever revamp we were getting, rather than hoping for the best, waiting and seeing, yadda yadda, yadda.

NOW. What part of that is fantasy? And PLEASE. Be specific and give real reasons. I know. It's a lot to read. But I think you can make it.

You know Dreven, you sure make it hard for me to have a grudge against our new correspondent. /sigh

I expect that he will have a short time in your good graces but as soon as things dont go the way you imagine he will start to feel the pressure of the pony crew. Unless he bribes you all with the chance to be assistant corrspondents. The I guess we will all get to blame you.

Ok let me rephrase.

The post you made in this thread was made after you were no longer a correspondent. I took offense to the statements made in a generalization, and at teh same time now view you as... well, I won't say as it is unappropriate for these boards. However, your comments were made AFTER you wer no longer a correspondent, and I am calling you on them.

Answers now please?

Or do you plan to just dodge them.

Either way is fine by me, I have my opinion formed. But at least honestly state whether you plan to answer my questions or not.

Also, the whole bit about not answering to anyone who isn't a Master, at least find out who you are dealing with before you insult them. That angered me further and is the sole reason I am pursuing calling you out on this.
