If you're going to ask for something, ask for the programming guys to set up a module system for the YT so that shipwrights can design their own combinations (including the various examples you've given). I seem to remember reading somewhere that's all the YT designs were, a module system which could be customised for the buyer.

I agree,there were plenty of ships from the EU they could've used for Privateers to make it feel more like the Star Wars. Heck,maybe one day we'll see them. Hint,hint DEVs.

Well, I cannot be sure that there is NOT a Constellation class ship in Star Wars, but it was Star TREK that made the Constellation class ships famous.
The Constellation class ships used components developed for the earlier Constitution class ships (of which the Enterprise was one), but with four nacelles. Examples of Constellation class ships include the USS Constellation (first of her type) and the USS Stargazer.
