Hello, for those that don't know, as of late, I've been pro-"Shut the hell up if your jealous of another proffesions needed revamp!!!" and I've been pretty mad at the lot of smugglers here whinning for the Rangers stealth and such. I've also seen a lot of Commandos whinning that they want stealth and explosives, and the lot. I've been seeing a lot of "ME FIRST GAH!!!", which in my opinion, is no better than those crying whining jedi glowstick lovers. That's why I want to start the coalition of FUBAR. Creature Handler, Commando, Smuggler, Droid Engineer, Ranger, Squad Leader, they are all FUBAR in one way or another. They are all in serious need of revamps. Most of the fixes comming out are pure crap. And at the sight of possible revamps to other professions, a lot of us (and them) have been jumping like a wild pack of wolves, screaming "I WANT THAT!!! GIVE ME!!! ME FIRST!!!"... That's not what we need.

I want to create a cross-profession group that is going to be cooperative. -IF- the ranger and smuggling revamp go out as proposed (which I seriously doubt, but that's another thread) then I don't want the "stealing cargo" relationship to be like the nerf-cry fest that the BH/Jedi is like now.

In order to join, you have to meet the following requirements:

You must be of one, or more of the "FUBAR" professions.

You must NOT, under -ANY- circumstances say or imply that "your" revamp should come before any other, for any reason at all. That includes us smugglers.

Your loyalties must lie to one of the "FUBAR" professions... And if you consider jedi to be one of these, then get OUT!!!

If enough smugglers /join up, I will post this in the other FUBAR profession forums.

In my opinion, the smuggler revamp and ranger revamps need to hit test center at the same time anyway... there's no way they'll be able to get all this right doing it in separate publishes.

Oh, and by the way, I'm in favor of them getting love just as much as I am us getting smuggler missions.

I agree with you on all points, but I can't join. Because I can't promise to NEVER go Padawan for the fun of opening up my second slot. I won't go mad grinding for it but it "could" happen at some point in the futur. (since I am not grinding, could be a loooong time tho lol)

But that small point asside, I entirely agree with you. Expressing our needs and concerns and wants is one thing, but the "ME! GIMME! FIRST FIRST FIRST!" attitude is not helping anyone.

i would join but i'm grinding for jedi as i really really want my 2 nd slots but other then that i compltey agree with you

Okay, there are some of you who I would make the "no jedi allowed" exceptions... Such as LaughingWolf DEFINATELY. As for megacrafter, is it is indeed just for a second slot, then I guess I can let it slide... I'll change the "pre-reqs" for joining a bit.

Ranger here. I like the idea. I think a lot of the ideas are good actually, But, I'm definately wanting to form a coalition and promise each other that the smugglers and rangers will never become the new jedi and bounty hunter wars. and of course, i don't want a war with commandos, SL, or any other profession that was neglected for a long time.

There must be rules though. For all FUBAR meetings, we all must provide the best of our communities.

Smugglers can bring the beer and pie. Rangers will bring Jack Daniels and Pop Tart, etc. Oh, and please tell those SLs to shower. Sheesh.

oh...and drop the no jedi clause. There are a lot of mature Jedi out there. Just make the clause be that you can't act like a jedi (lower-case j, indiciative of jeebay accounts). Acting like a Smuggler, Ranger, SL, Commando, etc. while having a Jedi character should be okay. Becoming a Jedi is "content" for a lot of people. As long as being a Jedi doesn't make them act like most people on the Jedi forums, they should be okay. Don't discriminate based on professions, but on the way people act.
