Thread: Heh, how much Dev time do you think we will get now?

I did not see them doing this. Most of the revamp needing professions still in need of well....revamps and they spring this. /hi5 for you, you beautiful minds. I'm scared that this will be the 'thrird faction' expantion where they make us pay more to smuggle. 200k credits says this is where they shunted GM off to.

So that's what they've been holding off for! I knew it had to be something like this. I had it fermenting in the back of mind that they have SOME reason to hold off o nthe CURB besides just lack of progression.
You're right fishy, just another thing to pull dev time away. The only good thing is that they hired more devs, so the impact *should* be less then it was with JTL. Wasn't JTL the reason they pushed the CURB in the first place?!
I'm all for more expansions...ones we pay money for should be worth it...let's cross our fingers and hope for an "Underworld" expansion that can be ours! all ours!!!!
*and that my firends is 450...not that I've been counting..../looks at Drev

Let's make a poll and vote on what the expansion is about!

If they make an 'underworld' expantion then they had damn well better give a free copy to all the long time smugglers. Cause having to pay extra to do the namesake of my profession = criminal IMO.

color me not happy at all at this announcement, maybe its just the mood i was already in today when I saw it, but goddam it sucks big time to see another "new" thing take precident over all the old things that everyone is waiting to be done - nevermind having to pay for it again.

My guess, as vague as it may be, is that they are going to make the expansion removed from the ground game like JTL - something for people to play with, but with no significant impact to the actual game. Since it has to be bought, people who don't have it can't be in a disadvantage to people who have it while playing the default SWG package, and instead of integrating it in a subtle way, there just won't be any ties with the ground game whatsoever.
As always, I hope I'm wrong.
Now - what fits the above description? New planets, locations, battlefields... stuff like that, I think.

I have a feeling it will be a new planet, more than likely Hoth, so that they CAN move the timeline forward.
