My wife is getting back into her character and wanted to know what the going rate for slicing armor and weapons is. She is a master smuggler. Before her hiatus, the going rate was 1k per percentage point. I went to 4 planets trying to find a smuggler the other day and finally found one and got charged 8k per weapon to be sliced. So what is the going rate?

I like the haggle and back and forth so i charge by the slice, 250 credits / %. This way if the slice isn't so hot, they pay less and feel good. If the slice is great and they feel good, i milk that and get more! It's win win!

10k minimum for anything. People are willing to spend 10-12k for a set of 3 hour buffs? They can damn well afford to pay the same amount for a perminent increase on their weapon.

I just charge a flat rate of 10k per slice because my time is very valuable to me. The abuse that many smugglers get whenthey don't get the "perfect" slice is the main reason why my fees have gone up from 5k to 10k. I don't like getting flamed for something I don't control so the additional credits slightly ease my pain

ive been chargin 10k for a very long time. since march actually.

Depends on the server
Nartius, for example, is currently seeing Free/Tip Smugglers with the average being around 3k, high 5k. Quite a few new master smugglers, unfortunately. I suspect the closer we get to JTL, and the more who rejoin SWG, the more smugglers there will be and (without a revamp) slicing prices will drop.

I'm a fairly new smuggler on naritus i mastered a month ago, but i swear i see smugglers everywhere now

2k flat rate is all its worth and wat i charge, charging 10k for something u have no control over is riduculous and atleast docs know wat they will enhance u by.

And charging 2k for the time that you can make 40k on a mission is retarded also.

I generally quote slice rates based on what I am doing at the moment.
If I am going somewhere or otherwise doing something else. The Customer pays a premium. Usually 7500.
If I am just standing around (ie waiting for a buff or burning of BF in a cantina) then I charge less. Usually 5000.
Also my rates go up and down based on my mood at the moment.
