Thread: A Single Sentence That I Would Like The Developers To Read.

I believe the developers are only doing what they are told by the higher powers, (producers, executives, etc), and that the higher powers have neither watched a Star Wars movie nor do they allow the developers freedom to create a game that would appear to more Star Wars fans rather than a basic fantasy model with Jedi.

It is shameful that SOE has once again stooped to"money grab" tactics such as releasing new material over fixingthe original product anddoubly shameful that they did soonthe backs of fans for oneof America's most beloved franchises.

While I know there are many issues with SWG that needs to and is currently being worked on, I know that the develepers are doing their best to make the game as enjoyable as possible, so because of this I say (to the developers)keep up the good work and don't let destructive people get you down.

Back in the days when we were happy go lucky and pretty content just waiting our turn you didn't see red names post here. After some of us got a little tired of being pacified ad told to be patient all of a sudden we see red names post here more in the last 2 months than the 10 months before that combined.
It might not be pretty but they come running when they see screaming and whining and forget you exist if you just sit back and sing them praises. In a perfect world you get better results thru politeness and udnerstanding but not in swg land. The best results here seem to happen for whoever screams the loudest.

i haven't been a smuggler long enough to know the trials and tribulations of those that post here but I do agree that it seems that those who cry loudest (no offense jedi and TKMs) seem to get looked at the most which I can only assume is due to the relative popularity of those professions. Smuggler just want their time in the sun . Sorry its more than 1 sentence.

It's long been my idea that the developers have left us to fight a battle between ourselves. Whilst some of us are unhappy with the way in which the class is being treated there are others who feel that it is wrong to ask for and expect some progress as time is short.
It's clear that lately we are divided and that very division has helped force the developers away from our cause.
So I've decided on creating this thread in the hope that our feelings are understood no matter how varied they are. The rules are simple.
- One sentence and one alone.
- Whilst I appreciate that not everbody's grammar is perfect ignoring full stops ( periods ) in order to post 3 pages will
- Be a bloody nightmare to read
- Not be tolerated
- If you use your sentence taking pot shots at another personsyou waste yours.
- No discussion in this thread. We want this to beeasily readable and digestible.
- You retain the right to be postive or negative. Nobody is here to stop you excercising your right to be heard.
- Please do not let this degenerate into a flame fest because it will drive the developers away.
- Whether in favour ofour treatment or not, stick to the forum rules and be civil at all times.
Here's mine.
Whilst I understand and agree that it is right that our revamp is postponed till after the release of Jump to Lightspeed, I am severely annoyed at the way in which developers make posts in this forum in an attempt to pacify us before failing to make good on this promise, and it is this simple fact alone that I am considering playing another game, and boycotting SOE products in the future.

Give us a dedicated Dev who will not be forced to work with us on his/her own time.

Alot of peoples opinions of SOE would change if you would just fix a few of the small things, such as the text in the Master Smuggler Box.

While I understand that we're not the only profession with problems, and I do believe that the you're doing your best with the resources available, you have made repeated commitments to give smugglers a revamp/attention/"love", and you owe it to us to honour those statements.

The Smuggler Profession was THE LAST profession added in Beta 3, and it did not work then; thus its sad to see that after One ENTIRE year, it still has not changed from its Beta-state.
