You are WAY too nice...

2 years is how long smugglers (and a good many of my fellow smugglers have been around for the entire 2 years) have been discussing smuggler issues. The slicing system just released gives us a little more "on topic" stuff to talk about however that isn't much. The slicing system isn't that intricate and is straightforward enough to leave little to speculate about. Our "off topic" threads are our way to foster community when we have little else to talk about. As these forums are to perpetuate community, by locking and deleting our threads (which don't violate any other policy other then the on topic one) you are not maintaining order but stifling the community.
So I ask you, person to person, before hitting that lock or delete button, give us leeway. We talk about "on topic" stuff as it comes.
yeah, my opinion on the new slice system = /yawn :l
opinion on future of smuggler missions = speculative at best
opinion of concussion shot change = been there, discussed that, got the shirt already
so um, not much else to talk about except Beverage and π

Admittingly, things have beenway off topic here lately.. but that's not a terrible thing. Generally speaking,a good time is being had by all,and on top of that, the smuggler boardsremain useful for the newbies and the vets alike. Some leeway is necessary.
But yeah, I'm somewhat on the mods side here, we do need to refocus.

we were focused... we want beer and pie? At least we focused on something so pure and yummy. What is on topic for a smuggler anyway?
We dont smuggle, we dont slice as much, and our combat effectiveness is slowly being eroded back to square one. We make our own content to get by and it just happens to drift onto the forums.

What in Hades do you want to "focus" on? Smuggler issues? Like we've been DOING for TWO FREAKING YEARS? And why should WE focus on them when the devs most OBVIOUSLY don't?
There had to be another reason why that post was locked... The Mods either didn't like where it was, or where it was going. Not to say I am completely for them doing this, I just find it strange that it is one of the few posts that have been locked on this forum.
When I saw the lock symbol on the thread, I thought to myself... "What the? This is new!" There had to be mitigating factors, the mods must be cracking down or something.
