Thread: Making my own smuggler content.
Actually you're missing a key element to 'smuggling'. And that is avoiding import/export restrictions and tarifs.
Of course it's the same thing SOE misses so maybe it's rather an obscure point?

I can see it now...
My view of Smuggleing:
I land my Nova Courier at Jabba's Palace and go in and talk to him.
He tells me he wants me to goto Coronet and meet a contact. This contact will then give me some spice which Jabba wants delivered to another contact onTheed.
I then leave the palace and jump back in my Nova Courier. I travel from the Tantooine system to the Corellia system and land at Coronet.
I look around the city and find the contact and he gives me the spice. I then head back to Coronet starport. When I enter the starport there is a % chance a squad of storm troopers will appear to scan me.If this happens I am "rooted" so that I can't run away from them. I can then attempt to talk my way out of it or attack them. If I fail talking my self out the scan they will then begin the scan. If I fail to pass it I can either hand the spice over and pay a fine or try to run for it.
If I hand the spice over I fail the mission and gain visability which can lead to a player Bounty Hunter coming after me.
If I pass it I can go on my way no hassle.
If I run from or attack the storm troopers as soon as a lunch into space I will imediatly have a squad of TIE Fighters after me, which I must fight off.
Once I am in space either having passed the scan or having run or fought my way out of it, I have to fly to a specific hyper space becon before entering hyper space. Once I reach that becon I must then hyper space to a specific hyper space point in the Naboo system. Then from that point I must travel to Naboo space station. Whilst flying this "route" again there will be a %chance that a patrol of TIE Fighters will spawn and scan me. Here I will basicly be given the same options as I have on the ground. Talk, Run, Fight or Surender.
Once I land in Naboo star port I will again have to go through the same scaning process that I did at Corellia star port. Once I get out of the star port I find the contact and deliver the spice to him. I can then choose my payment, money or a % of the spice.
Again note failing missions will result in PLAYER BOUNTY HUNTERS coming after you. If they kill you they get there money, you lose visability. If you escape or win they don't get there money, not sure what the advantage of wining for a smuggler could be :/ But you do not want Smugglers losing just so they get removed from the terminals.
