Truly Awesome...
clicky
Goliath for the win yet again eh?
Just a shame Architects can't craft it
To make good news better!

There... WOW
Okay, that's it, please, please, PLEASE tell me that Goliath was in charge of the YT-2400 model too!?
Yes, he did. We'll have a similar feature like this in a couple of weeks.

Just a shame Architects can't craft it(as far as I know).
It is. What's also a shame is that interiors like that can never be decorated exactly as you like, similar to the Sorosuub yacht and the Y-8. All three look great, but they are all horribly static and nothing in them has a proper use. It just stands there and prevents you from doing something you want to do with the interior.
Is it really that hard to make two models, one without all the bells and whistles like bars and columns and interior walls, and allow the players to switch the interior pieces on and off through the house terminal?
I'm thinkin Goliath's love of TNG is showing again
But that doesn't make it any less pretty of a house. Too bad it's part of a vast web of misdirected resources.

But then the fact that they are concentrating so hard on telling us everything about the goodies that come with the expansion and yet hardly can be bothered to give us some facts about the actual content our money will purchase speaks volumes all by itself.
I've seen some beta-tester posts, and while none of them broke the NDA, some of them more thanhinted that the size and the scope of this expansion isn't exactly anything to write home about (the phrase "not getting your money's worth" came up a few times)
Anyway, to get back on topic: if the coders and producers would regularly do such quality work as Goliath, this game would be in much better shape. ![]()
My only complaint about that beauty is this: It takes 5 lots.
Now, keep in mind-
RotW goes live:A plethora of new ships: we get more ship slots.
Trials goes live: A new 5 lot building: More lots???
Personally, if you are going to "reward" me with something, you had sure as heck make every effort to allow me to use it without sacrificing what I already have. No ifs ands or buts. This precendent was set by RotW. I expect it to be followed in Trials, and all new expansion-based "rewards".

then you would love my idea of a new range of houses id like to see, the outside would fit the name(Naboo Custom Large House) so the outside would be the same as the current model, however the inside would be totally empty of anything excluding the outside walls. homeowners could then buy walls and floors and place them in the home. when everything is placed they could goto the building control panel and select "Apply Changes" at this point the parts would go from being items to being part of the building as to not be counted against then 400 item limit.
