Thread: My report so far from Fan Fest

Allright after a highly charged 'Hybrid professions' panal I am here to give you a few tidbits of info. I will continue to report what I find as I talk to more devs.


1) GreenMarine actually exists. He was on the panal and did the bulk of the question answering.

2) Green Marine esentially admitted that it was BS how we have been strug along.

3) I talked to Q-3P0 and I mentioned getting the mind poison damage mitigation spice for us in Publish 9 and he liked the idea and actually wrote it down.


I've been wearing a white tee shirt with the phrase 'The smuggler revamp is a fun myth'. I have recieved apologies from 5 devs so far and JustG has taken to avoiding looking at the shirt. I'll have to come up a new phrase for tomorrow. I'll post new info as sson as I get it. I'm trying to do us proud and I hope between myself and the other smugglers here we can wring some more info out. I'll be attempting to corner GreenMarine for an hour or so tonight.

And something about JustG avoiding your shirt just makes me laugh. Though, it's not surprising if he's aware of the beating he and the rest of the devs are taking in the "Revamp Delay" thread...he's probably very much ashamed of himself.

Let's pretend for a moment that I was sick and tired of trying to create works of art that were funny or interesting. Instead I decided to become a worthless political cartoonist, scrawling my work on the backs of paper dinosaurs and eagerly anticipating the next tragedy so that I could draw a picture of a bald eagle crying on a torn American flag. If that's what I decided to do, then my first cartoon might be a drawing of a mouse trap which I would label "Star Wars Galaxies". Inside the mouse trap I would draw a piece of cheese and I would label it "The Jump to Light Speed expansion". Then off to the side I would draw an octopus that would represent America's foreign policy pre 9-11.

Every time you talk to them, don't forget to stop, and pause then say "INTERNAL DISCUSSION" and then continue.

We are all pissed with that phrase! And make sure they know it.

I was able to ask about feign death.I was told that it is working as intended except that there could possibly be a range issue. Also it was confirmed that feign is NOT a PvP skill and that we almost did not get the skill at all.

Heard that before but it's terrible hearing it from a Dev face to face. So I guess we shuold be thankful for what we got...a big, fat griefing tool.


I don't doubt you...I know they said it. It may be working as intended but not working as it should and could.

FD isn't a PVP tool, and what is it for?


FD is useful inPVE becausewhen we get up, 20 mobs all pounce on us even if they walked 200m away?
