Thread: Master Smuggler certification

I have recently come back after a little exodus from the game so that I could check out the CU. I think at Master Smuggler we should get a certification to SMUGGLE.
Do you know how ungrateful it looks to read through the smuggler forums and every other thread is complaining about pistol certs? We just got 2 NEW pistols, and nobody has threads about how great they are or how we appreciate finally getting something. I have checked out the Renegade pistol on TC5 and it looks sweet, and the stats(I know its only on TC) are the same as the DE-10. This is the absolute best thing smugglers have been given since this game went live, let's try to show a little gratitude.
We should all be focusing on being able to smuggle in our revamp that is coming up. Unless of course they have pushed us back while I was gone.

i have to agree with you on this one, the pistol certs we got now are plenty for me

I likes em too. Most impressively of all, they really look like they'll be useful weapons.
Though I'm gonna have to say, saying they're "the best thing that ever happened to us" may be damning them with faint praise.

That would suck to go live and the stats of the Renegade be equivalent to a CDEF pistol. But as long as its close to where they have it now, I am happy.

I completely agree... we NEED our revamp, then if it falls thru, or anything else hits the fan, then we should complain. We need to change our outlook for the moment from the present and look into the future a little. I know that things are not the way we would like them ATM, but we have to deal with it until the CU is done. Once CU hits live and gets it's numerous patchs, then there will be more time/effort put into the smuggler revamp.
And to any smuggler who is not more than 6 months old, don't try to slap a flame my way. I mastered smuggler, and have never dropped that box since Dec 4th of 2003.
Hell, we should be greatful that we are even getting a revamp.

Thanks Zeritul. It used to be a rather more negative sentiment about being a long-time smuggler, but I figured when it gets necessary, I already do a good enough job expressing my anger about this profession. Put it in my sig as well and I might seem obsessive or something.

Hell, we should be greatful that we are even getting a revamp.greatful is too strong a word, as I said before smuggler has been an after thought to SOE since day one, we are owed a re-vamp and SOE should be greatful we are all still playing the game. With that said I will be very happy (as all of us will) when the re-vamp hits but greatful to SOE for doing something that needed to be done in beta...no.
