Thread: Just Realized That I can finally Play a Droid...

That's right.
With RotW coming up all I would have to do is max out on the cybernetic limbs and then role play from there.
Now the decision is:
Do I use one of the many characters I have already built and never really play (as they would already have cash/loot that I can sell in order to get a hold of what I need to start leveling -buffs and the like)?
or
Do I start anew where I can pick a populated server, pick a character more suited to look droid like (i.e. give hime things like red eyes and lil' details like that) and give him a cool name like DX-ElevenThirteen?
Hmmmmmm.
Suggestions?

Yeah, I like that idea- Then I could take off the mask and have that messed up skin tone ( a hard core yellow would be good too) and red eyes- etc. etc.
Maxing out your attributes to be robot-like would be cool too.
The other smoked out idea I had was if/when I unlock:
- I would make my alt character look exactly like my main character
- Name him like T. Stargunner or Tev, you know-
- and then play him as an alter ego for my regular character. Kinda like a secret Identity.
I could go on to give him a COMPLETELY different- superheroesque name like "Blight" or Doomsday or something silly like that-
The point would be just to role play it out.
...You know, "Dude! Blight is really Tevin Stargunner!" type stuff...

What Id like to know is how hard are the quests going to be to get these parts? I hope its not some DWB style quest, as that would be silly for an expansion that boasts those peices as a big part of the release. Also, there are at least 5 styles of cybernetics (different looks) and with 5 peices to each style, how will we go about collecting a full set?

...yeah, like good Kirk, bad Kirk but you could be a straight up good guy too.
The thing is you could do whatever you wanted but that would be like your alter ego. You would still in essence be playing your main character but he would have the extended abilities of your alt.
For example:
Your main might be a bad ass Smuggler/Commando type but your alt would be a Armorsmith/Merchant/TK type but they would have similar names and looks-fly the same ship- live in the same house-so essentially the same character.

I think I'm gonna reroll on Eclipse- That way I have a character on Radiant (original) Startsider(Wasodo) and Eclipse that are semi regulars.
...anybody wanna help a newbie out with some cash/weapons/group time?

Let me know in-game, if you're on in the evenings GMT on weekdays (my weekend times are pretty irregular).
