Thread: Power-Up Slicing thread -- DELETED?

Apparently, now we can't even discuss why this is a game breaking issue for alot of us.
We were all making good points, there were very few flames, and the ONE time that the actual process was posted, the guy went back and edited it out (as per Caylin's request)...
So...WHY was this deleted?
*waves at the forum mods*... do you guys know what the LOCK function does? You could've just locked it with a little explanation...geez...

Ya this is an important issue.. sure it doesnt matter much when PU slicing a cdef pistol but when you PU slice a T21 or some other high damage weapon it is very easily seen. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I thought it might have something to do with the fact that the exact steps to perform a power up slice were in the thread, but since it was edited out I don't really have any idea why. It would be nice to know so we don't repeat whatever it was that got the thread deleted.

Was that the "guaranteed" means Pup slice thread? Man, I didn't get to read it. Oh well. It's not like just about everyone doesn't know how it works anyway. Besides, my Smuggler is on temporary hold until JTL, so noone asks me for "guaranteed" slices anyway. I'm playing my second character ATM (also a Smuggler, though a Novice - ain't I a glutton for punishment - but I don't wear a tag on that one).
EDIT: Since it has to do with Smugglers, I have serious doubts that it will be fixed any time soon. Or auto-pull from the crates, or get an answer for the spice fix, or...

I think I recall a few different posts in that thread that came close enough to explaining the actual process.
But, if that's not the reason, well, the mods don't always act with due discretion.

Truth be told I asked a mod to edit the post in case he didn't return to see what I said. I have a zero tolerance approach to posting exploits. They may have taken what I said the wrong way and blew the entire thread away.
I never expected them to delete the whole thread though...

As I said in the other thread though, I'd test it out myself.
I did, it's still an issue.
On a side note: I hope the guy who posted it is ok. I have a no tolerance approach to it, but as I hear you made an effort to edit out the process I'd hate for something to have happened.

i posted the steps but THEY DONT WORK so dont have a cow, plus i edited the message when i saw the request but still those steps DONT WORK!!!!!
Sorry for posting the steps, i thought it was common knowledge, you would think so with as many requests i get but because it does not seem to work for me i tell everyone that it doesnt work.

It's a shame. One of the reasons that drove me from smuggling: Getting slicing turned down because I won't PuP slice....
