February i became a Master Smuggler. Have made a modest living from my Smuggling abilities. Didnt whine when i realised i needed to hybridise my proffesion in order ot a) be able to hit a barn door and b) to be able to do damage. I didnt whine when everyone else got their love first, as i had faith that smuggler proffession would surely get the remedies it required.

I began to whine, when they pushed back our fixes, ( let alone the increase, but the FIXES) I began to whine further when they suggested that it will be after the combat revamp after jtl, when soe have extracted money form us for a new game, which they are developing currently from funds, that coem to the game, for the bugged broken piece of **edit**e, that we play of late.

Whined when they bugged our auto pulling from crates.

Then i had alittle whine abouthe 'quests' circling ever increasing circles is a novel take on the whole principle of questing.

Whined further today when i completed the quests and was not given a banner.

When i did master ID about 5 weeks ago, After surrender i kept the title and was amused, used it as covert disguise, () I decided with my desperado, trickshot, master smuggler template, I would need to surrender a bit of smuggler temporarily to get the fs stuff, get my 24 boxes and then unlock 2nd character(need combat to do the quests right?).. Surrendered master and lo and behold, im informed that the title dissapeared form my head instantaneously... Nice one soe, a useful bug and funky bug which would have kept me in character and roleplaying, through this temporary surrender, doesnt work...

Basically I have had enough. Coupled with items being deleted form vendors without email warning, ( csr says, working as intended, 3 backpacks, 5 lancse, Nightsister armour shards, adn two plus 6 pistol aa's. and cant od anything about it)

Two corvette badges dissapearing from my bio, ( csr says no workaround sorry, ) Finishing the fs quests and getting no reward. and being shat on from a great height, basically means, IM retiring from smuggler, and tbh, if things dont improve, the game entirely, i have a network of 6 other smugglers who feel the same and lead a guild of 115 actives and a metropolis of the same amount of people, who pretty much all feel the same way.

Basically I think You Smuggler Caylin are a very bright individual, but quite frankly you have achieved, NOTHING for the smuggler community, And results based performance is what I believe in. talk and spiel is one thing. But all you have been apart form an intersting conceptualist, is a mouth piece for the devs, and quite frankly useless.

Im sorry to word it in such harsh ways, its not a personal attack, rather an attack on the whoel conept of correspondents who are not allwoed to correspond with the community, whos words are nothing more than specualtion, adn have precisely 0 power.

Well, I can definitely say that Caylin is a great Correspondent for the Smuggler Community. You have to understand that he does EVERYTHING he can for us, but that does absolutely no good if the Devs 1) Do not listen, 2) Do not act, or 3) Do no care.

Also, I did the quests and got my banner. You did know you had to do a second set of 10 patrols to get it, right?

So, let me see if I'm reading that right.... You got Master ID, then surrendered it but still wore the Master ID title. Later on you dropped Master Smuggler, but when you did the game informed you that you couldn't wear your Master ID title any more. And this upsets you? You're upset that the bug you were taking advantage of stopped working for you?

/sarcasm Gee I feel so bad for you /sarcasmOff

Please tell me that I'm somehow reading that paragraph incorrectly, so that I can stop looking upon it as the dumbest thing I've read this week.

IM retiring from smuggler, and tbh, if things dont improve, the game entirely, i have a network of 6 other smugglers who feel the same and lead a guild of 115 actives and a metropolis of the same amount of people, who pretty much all feel the same way.

/sarcasm Yeah, threatening to quit the game has worked REAL well at getting things fixed in the past.Your statement will definitely result in the entire Smuggler profession being fixed in no time flat /sarcasmOff

You're an ungrateful Hutt-slug is what you are. Smuggler_Caylin may not be getting dozens of fixes lined up for Smuggler in each patch, but guess what? Neither are any of the other Correspondants! Sorry to be the one to break this crazy news to you, but Smuggler_Caylin hasn't always been the Smuggler Correspondant. Yet, none of the past Smuggler Correspondants managed to achieve much more (if any more at all) than Caylin. I doubt I could even name a half-dozen times that Smuggler has been in the patch notes, but that isn't Caylin's fault. It's the Devs choosing to work on other things before Smuggler. Caylin has been pushing for us ever since he first took the job, and if the Devs say "Sorry, Smuggler won't get anything in this patch," then that's THEIR choice.

Blame the Devs when Smuggler doesn't get fixes, not Caylin. He takes time out of his own life and his own playing time to work for this profession, and it doesn't help when some idiot yells at him for something he has no control over. He can only push the issues; the end choice is up the Developers.

Im sorry to word it in such harsh ways, its not a personal attack, rather an attack on the whoel conept of correspondents who are not allwoed to correspond with the community, whos words are nothing more than specualtion, adn have precisely 0 power.

Not a personal attack? You just called him a useless puppet and you say it's not a personal attack? Correspondants correspond with the Developers. They take our ideas, complaints, and so forth and present them to the Developers in a way that they believe will help us obtain our goals. They can only tell us what the Devs SAY they can tell us. It's call a Non-disclosure agreement. If we didn't have Correspondants, then the information on each profession forum would be completely disorganized, and we would get even less information than we are now. We only get as little as we do BECAUSE of the Correspondants; without them we would pretty much get nothing. There was a time when there were NO Correspondants, and NO Thunderheart, and we got about 1/10th of the info from the Devs that we do now. Apparently you either weren't around, or you just don't remember. Well, I was around, and I can tell you it was HELL compared to the current system. Be grateful you get anything at all, because it used to be worse.

/sarcasm Lowest form of wit, I'm merely highlighting yet another inconsistency of the game .

You really are a brown nosing sycophant, as I stated in the paragraph you so helpfully split form the first, Im not attacking Caylin, his position is useless. Fanboys like you are a waste of time tbh.

Istarted as soon as I could in the uk, and quite frankly it has neither got worse or better but is still poor. The correspondent system does nothing, other proffessions HAVE had numerous fuixes, and sure ME threatining to quite the game ownt do anything, but 200 people threatening to quite the game, might. And if it rose to thousand or more then we have a movement. If people started to realise, that soe is a business and all it requires to have a sucess is MOney, not customer satisfaction, If people perhaps were more active, perhaps SOE would do soemthing, Its simple economics, You remove the thing that they wish the most of, and they will implement changes. You people who eat **edit** when its served to you are welcome to continue to do so. I for one, value what i spend money on. And if its got any potential or hope for it, am willing to try my damndest to have it improved.

Did you try taking a screenshot of your quest journal, which shows the quests you have completed? That is a verification that you have done the quests and should enable you to get some help.

Also, if your intention was to attack the Correspondent system, and not Caylin, you really should have worded your original post better.

sengis, we feel your pain. Lashing out at caylin, who has openly exposed sony and its shenanigans time and time again, isnt going to win you any high ground, or much sympathy.

I think its crappy what is happening to merchants, not because i even understand the changes, but because i can see that a large number of players are displeased. I know it will negatively affect one of the few things this game has going for it; a strong and vibrant playereconomy. By screwing with the current merchants, i foresee making runs to empty vendors, which pisses me off.

I think its crappy that we are all going to be force sensitive, rather than just making the professions what they should be. They should just make a set of profession related quests, and give special profession related "advanced"skills that augment our abilitiesrather than forcing us to engage in the jedi craze.

I think its crappy that if a jedi is so much more powerful than other elite professions, that they would be able to compete in the galactic war at all. After watching a jedi carve through a group of 8, I am fairly certain that in swg, the faction war is a joke.

I think its crappy that dabblers own the day; certain skills, and attacks should be moved to the "master box," especially with respect to elite professions. I mean, for christ sakes, we can master two professions ... there are plenty of valid templates that can be had there; put the payoff skills at the top so master means something.

I think it would be nice if every profession were meaningful and content oriented, rather than the "chosen" profession of jedi being the only viable goal of the game.

Etiquette lessons #1; never use caps in your whole header or post.
#2; if a post/thread really pisses you off ... kill it with silence
#3; never write a post more than 3 paragraphs- unless it a guide
#4; never say "sticky this," others will if its worth a sticky.
#5; in the heading never say "devs please read."
#6; never ask for a rollback, just wont happen.
#7; Never use too many colors.
#8; Avoid quoting quotes of quotations, he said she said who said??

Im only going to comment on this part becasue the rest of your post is just an attempt to get your e-peen up. People THREATENING to quit will do nothing. Neither will protests, or any other form of virtual civil disobedance, because in the end youre still paying them.

If you want to quit, just do it, dont come here and trash on someone who has tried their hardest to get our points across, that does nothing but make people angry.
