Thread: Post your character's persona [edited]

my main character (Kohs) won't change much. he'll still be a scoundrel with a heart of gold. a master of intel and disguise (although post CU i'm gonna drop master ID for a full on combat template). and a compulsive gambler and lady's twi.
with my master Smuggler, master Pistoleer, Carbineer 4040 template i figure he'll be doing more combat oriented mercinary work. he'll be good to have in a group battle because of his near triple crowd control profs.
what you've seen of Wuha on TC-ep3 will be similar to what i plan on doing on Sunrunner with Kohs. taking a more active role in PvP. perhaps hiring himself out as a mercinary for either side in the GCW.
but i would most like to continue to build up the criminal RP world on Sunrunner as well, with the help of Joras. perhaps launch a PvP gang war!

Well, so I'm going MS/MBH post-CU. People have been talking about how they don't feel being a BH fits into the character of a smuggler. While I'm inclined to agree with them, I also find the prospect of hunting jedi interesting. So I've been thinking about it, and came up with a background for my char that incorporates both professions.
I'm going to be an "Expediency Specialist," hired by the Rebellion. I'll smuggle, sabotage, steal, engage in subterfuge (see my post on subterfuge), and assassinate, as long as the price is right. Whatever I do is of strategic importance to the rebellion, but too underhanded to be conducted by the Rebellion itself.
Man I could go for some pizza.
Been thinking of a backstory into the whole BH thing myself; my character despises them, which will make it even harder to pull off. Im thinking, maybe, he was able to inflitrate spynet's database an uploaded himself as member of the Bounty Hunter'sguild. My characters' no saint; but he'd much rather talk his way out rather than exhirting physical effort to get out of a jam.
I'll use the MBH as a shield against other Bounty Hunters..you know, that unspoken law between them, that says they cant *or at least shouldnt* hunt other bounty hunters...unless of course that Hunter fails to eliminate or capture the target. Initially he wont be too interested in hunting down marks, but there will be offers that are too lucrative to pass up...he hates wearing armor so I see a dual roleplay type of thing happening. SHould be fun...the whole masked Zabrak thing is rather intriguing- I wont be as powerful as some of the other templates...so i'll have to rely on strategy mostly...and just plain ol'escape artistry![]()
ok and so it just hit me...to go along with the whole dual personality thing, I think i'll purchase an AV-21 to be like my, excuse my geek'ness..batmobile. Perhaps even purchase a separate ship as well, you know, for those special assignments.
Reo normally rides around on a busted speeder

I'm going to the same template, and the roleplay aspect is almost exactly the same as yours, too. I originally chose to work towardsthe smuggler profession because I'd decided to play Dash as a Rebel spy, and having both the underworld contacts, and the slicing skills tosteal data or workaround electronic security systems, fit the bill nicely. Having the investigation skills of a bounty hunter fits alongside that very nicely. Plus, in terms of roleplay, being an Imperial-licensed bounty hunter would be a greatcover for a Rebel to justify having weapons and armour, and travelling around alot.

Thats almost exactly the direction I'm taking Syyl'ara. Every bit the part of the covert operations specialist, I'm interested in modeling her in part on Aayala Secura, minus the lightsaber, of course.
ahh well, enough forum hopping, time to play!
Years ago, Jaecob served as a highly decorated dectective among CorSec, finally quitting the force due to personal reasons, rumored to be that he became disillusioned with CorSec and corruption among its officers. He began to wander the galaxy, and eventually turned into what he used to fight, a criminal. He became one of the Underworld's most reknown Smugglers and Go-To men simply from knowing all of the Law's methods, contracting with whoever was willing to pay. He lives with only a few simple laws for life;
- Never Hit a Lady
- Don't Piss Jaecob Off
- Never Open the Package
- Only Hard Currency or Precious Commodities as Payment
- No Slaves
- Payment on Delivery
- Never Keep a Lady Waiting
- No Exceptions
Jaded from previous situations in his life, he has few people he trusts and fewer he considers "friend", but this has begun to change with much of his recent work, which has brought him into contact with the Rebellion.
His talents have made him sought after on many occasions when discretion was necessary. However, he will admitt that due to his own brand of luck, the only discretion sometimes is those around his objectives not knowing what exactly is happening, why, or who is doing it.
He is known as a master of pistols and gunfighting, versed in other forms of combat.
