I made a new character recently who is now a novice smuggler, but anyway I have been hearing that Smugglers are supposed to be rich? How does a Master Smuggler make money? Slicing doesnt seem to be that great considering the effort you spend doing it. Spices, I dont think that is very good if you dont have a vendor, but like I said I am new and I could be wrong. But why is it that everyone says you guys are so rich, lol?

I think you're mistaking us for the people that sell the slicing components.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I've been a Master Smuggler for a long time and the only thing I've EVER made money off of was loot, missions, and the occasional slice of a full set of armor.

Zane is over a year old (Zannec, my other Smuggler is almost 2) and I'm still sitting on just under2 mil. Oh yeah, and most of that was what I made when I was a weaponsmith before news of the CU came.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

back in the day i got rich off selling slicing tools... to other lazy smugglers... back when you could craft them with those things called harvesters... and you had a template with smuggler and artisan and tk and even a little merchant

but by rich I mean about what I can sell one gurk king hide drop for...

Wow I ahve no clue as to where I heard that Smugglers could make millions, but now I know that was a lie!Lol. Welcome to the party its been pretty much like this for all the combat professions. The only way I can make big money without piloting is selling Kashyyk quest rewards, but then when I run out of quests....Lol.

Yea, the faction selling was nice for a while, until people realized they could get faction relatively easily AND make money at the same time doing other things.

That pretty much nailed that coffin shut. I do get occasional requests from armorsmiths for faction but uhh, lately, not so much.

The only goodmoney I've gotten is from loot. The days after the CU hit when Krayts were really easy, and Concussion shot was a 40 no-hassle root. Woooo, big money. Well, I'm still sitting on that 13 mill..... I started a smuggler store right before the cu hit. Ouch. Well, now nobody buys spice, Half my slicing stock was made useless, and the other half was raped by hoarding customers when the slicing changes hit while I was on vacation. Lol, a crate of WUK's for 10k after the "slice revamp"

I made over a hundred million credits by selling faction points.

Unfortunately, I spentit all on beer, pie, and sexxah Twi'lek dancers.

You made things with harvesters? Kewlness! I had to buy factories

made most of my current 28 mill with old-school slicing for a WS and selling faction
