I have been playing since Beta and Day one. Started my character with being a smuggler in mind, and about a Month after Launch I think I finaly Made smuggler. Have been Master Smug ever since.

While Retaining my smuggleness, I have since Tried Master Artisan, Swordsman, Marksman, Medic, Scout, Brawler, and Am now Finishing up with Pistoleer. Never once have I given up Any of my Smuggler.

Just wondering how many people have managed to Keep Smuggler the WHole Time.

I started about 2 days after launch, with the goal of being a smuggler. It took me a long time ,like 4 or 5 months to master but I did and I have not or will not give it up. I have mastered marksman ,scout, commando and pistoleer . I would like to try other professions but If I can t keep Master smuggler then I wont even try.

I started playing in June, started smuggler in July, and mastered it in August. Despite all the ups and downs of the profession, I don't think I would ever give up smuggler. The smuggler profession has provided me with countless opportunities for roleplayed social interactions I wouldn't be able to get with any other profession.

I started Day 2 (would have been Day 1, yadda, yadda) with Smuggler in mind, along with Droid Engineer (which quickly changed to Weaponsmith).

It took me a bit of time to get Novice Smuggler, but I was always a "Smuggler-in-training". Took a real long time to Master Smuggler, but I finally did it. Also Mastered Weaponsmith (dropped because of resources, I have too little time for hunting that stuff), and along the way, I also Mastered Artisan, Architect, and Merchant. I'm on my way now to Mastering Pistoleer and TKA to finish my journey to Triple Mastery, and that's probably where I'll stay. I may reconsider the combat classes if the upcoming revamps give us more options somehow, but Master Smuggler stays.

I will be doing the new quests to open up a second character slot which will be a Jedi, which is the other character I wanted to play in SWG. Both are SWG representations of old PnP Star Wars RPG characters.

All my characters in the PnP were always bounty hunters, never had a smuggler.Maybe because I didnt want to start out in debt. But I always seemed to play them likea smuggler. The last one I made was a slicer, who would have guessed.

In various games and versions of the RPG, I've had 2 Jedi, 2 Smugglers, and one Bounty Hunter (unfortunately, not too many Star Wars RPG games around, so I'm stuck right now with 1 Jedi and 1 Smuggler I can somewhat regularly play these days).

I actually started the Bounty Hunter character on a different server on the same day as my smuggler character, but he's yet to fire a shot. Too much fun with the Smuggler (and not enough time for both characters, really).

Started just about at launch. Didn't master until about a month ago, but I've been a smuggler, or working on smuggler the entire time. Only other profession I've mastered is Merchant (and that ain't hard).

I have been playing since launch and have always wanted to be a Smuggler and have a smuggling business. Well Damage Inc. is alive and well and I am now a Master Smuggler/Master Swordsman. I am working on Master Brawlerright now but will never give up being the scourage of the galaxy.

I was a smuggler in beta, when it was finally added that is, and I'm still one. Well as much of a smuggler as one can currently be. I haven't mastered the thing yet, but I also haven't played in months. I'm hoping to master it right around when we get the revamp.

I have a question for all you who tried other proffessions but wouldn't give up smuggler:

Why not just start another character? I made a character with a general plan in mind. After a while, I wanted to try something new, so instead of dropping all my favorite skills, I made a new character. I have a bunch of cahracters now, each with different skills. When I want to try a proffession, I make a new character. I don't go dropping all my skills I've already worked hard for. What's the point?

me...but I wasn't in Beta...I was just from day 2 (couldn't log in day 1). Worked my butt off to get it, my Doctor/CH friend (Laeadar) helped keep me alive to level ... it cost him $ since I had none, but he got XP out of it. Then after I started making $ ... I helped him get set up (hmmm, I think I may have gotten the short end of the stick...but at least I made it quickly)
