Thread: How would you slice this T21?

I have T21 with the following stats
Speed 2.82
Damage 543-1087
Base DPS is 288.
I believe the max damage for a T21 is 1184.5. I have an ilegal corebooster and can get any of the slicing components so that shouldnt be an issue. I cant figure out which way would be the best way to go so if i could get some imput that would be great.

an 8% slice will put you at 1173 damage. that would be 60% customisation, I would add a level 1 speed slice 2% speed and a level 1 crit shot for a 3% cirt shot chance would put is at 100% customisation.

awesome, i wouldnt even need rare components with this would I? just finely crafted and simple tookits

Just do Speed. You might get that speed down to about 1.4 which, with your personal adjustments could be as low as 0.9.
Do that, and you'll find that DPS goes through the roof and your specials will cooldown faster.

Im not worried about speed. Ican get lots of speed already. I really want to get it close to the damage cap and then possibly do speed and crit rolls. The first poster seemed to know exactly what i wanted, i just need to figure out what components i need for that now.

Crit doesn't work anyway and i find that speed pushes the damage up far higher that Damage does.

speed pushes up the speed and DPS, but the actual damage that you hit when you shoot is affected by your damage on the gun.

Simple Toolkit & Illegal Core Booster for the 8% damage slice but you will need a Simple Toolkit for the 3% Critical Shot Chance and the 2% speed needs to tools.
Note have not tried to slice a T21 but read on weaponsmith forum that the cap for smuggler slice is below the max damage a weapon can do. (meaning you might only be able to get a 8% slice on it)

so your saying i might have a different cap on this gun than 1184.5? Do you have to do the slices in order to make it work? Like do a level 1 dmg slice, a level 2 and then a level 3?
