Guild was saving to bring someone up to master and they decided against it.
Have 100 or more locked containers will sell for 2k ea, (negotiable)

Technically, according to the rules, he should've put it on the trade forums.
But a lot of novice smugglers pass by here. Its good publicity where novices are concerned (and an even betterway to piss off masters).

I do not have a vendor... so I put my offer in here. May get one soon. What would smugglers need other than locked containers? I destroy so many cdef weapons its not funny. Only problem is I am not a smuggler or artisan so I cannot make the clamps.

If the drop rate wasn't as high as it is, I wouldn't recommend this...but you should save them. Supposedly, there will be cool loot items in JTLS and some may even be required for a few things. Since containers always use the current loot table, you could hold them and then open them after JTLS. Still, that's quite a while to hold onto containers. Today, they probably aren't worth 2K each because they are a lot easier to get than they were in July of 2003.

On Chimeara these still go for 6-10K each.
I know I sell about 100 a week.

untill i forgot about ones i had in house i had been greedy and put them on bazaar at 6k each and they always sold. once i worked out how many i had i put them up for auction since single lot of 50odd must be useful to any novice smuggler. how many cans does it take a novice smuggler to get the skill they needed for.

I hadn't realized people still paid quite so much for them. I generally give them away or just open them myself these days but if you can get a decent price for them... I suppose some of the current loot kit items are also keeping the value of them a bit higher than they would be. If you find one gong adhesive in a container out of 100, you will still come out ahead.

The sale of locked containers for 5-10k is comming to an end. At least on kettemoor there are now tons of locked containers on the bazaar and nobody is buying them. The reason for this is with the new way to get jedi there are not a bunch of profession grinders doing smuggler and willing to buy containers at 10k+ a piece.It used to be that you could never find locked containers and now they are dropping more and not as many people want them.

Not that I have an issue with being given medioce staring to a post, but 1.) why star a post that is not giving an opinion, mearly stating a simple fact and 2.) If you give a negative staring system have the testicles to explain yourself by posting the reason.

Fact:
This is not a trade forum. There are specific forums set aside for all galaxies for this reason. There is also an auction channel for advertising purposes.
Opinion:
If you want to sell them, use those means or use the in-game search function to find a novice smuggler. People use it all of the time to search out master smugglers for slices, you can use it too.
