After the Force Sensitive change I found that I was at the threshold for becoming one with the force. I completed the necessary requirements to get access to the village. After gaining entry I found that I was awarded four free trees for my previous efforts to unlock a Jedi. I decided, after much thought,that I would move on to become a Jedi, leaving the Smuggler profession behind. It was a hard decision as my main Haljo Rann on Lowca was created specifically to be a Smuggler, and he had only Underworld and Dirty Fighting remaining to complete. He was real close to both, and the lure of the force won out.
I changed my template to Master Tera Kasi and was working on Master Rifleman (and I hate rifles). I was planning on using this template to take out Mellichae and his goons. However, I missed Smuggler. I figured that I would create another toon sometime that would become a Master Smuggler. I was almost finished with the Master Rifleman profession, I only had about 600k to master. My force sensitive skills would have been finished in no time and soon I would be a Jedi. It was so close I could taste it, smell it, and see it.
I then started thinking about why I wanted to become a Jedi. I thought it would be fun to be hunted by the Bounty Hunters, even with all the problems that go along with it. It would be very challenging. However something was missing. I realized that I had more fun with Haljo as a Smuggler (even if he didn't hit master). I had to think about what I really wanted, and being so close to reaching Jedi made the choice really difficult.
I surrendered ALL of my Force Sensitive skills, and I am returning to my chosen profession of Smuggler. It will not be difficult to acquire the Locked Containers, as the Jantas and Mokks were kind enough to give me six of them. I was going to find a Novice Smuggler just starting out and give them to him or her; but now I will use them.
Do any of you know me? I would have to say no. I just wanted people to know even though there are professions more powerful than Smuggler, I still wanted to be one, with all its faults and potential.

Here here! I too once left the Smuggler profession to persue other careers; Bounty Hunter, TKM, Medic, etc. Eventually I started missing my old smuggling ways and returned to the profession and have vowed never to drop it again. ALL HAIL THE SMUGGLERS!

I myself used to smuggle, but now I make a lucrative living in the pr0n industry. Sad but true.
No really, good story man. Giving up four lines of FS isn't a joke.

amen brother. i'm 340k pistol xp away from mastering smuggler, and all i can say is if i ever drop thisprofession something DRASTIC must have happened in my life, because i have played games before, heck even mmorpg's before, but none of them have made me as warm inside as this one does now that i am so, so very close to mastering this humble profession. others may be more powerful, but do they have as much fun complaining at the devs? i think not. plus the money is so good when you reach master, its untrue. if my guild leaedr is to be trusted that is. we smugglers are a less than truthful breed by reputation after all

Wow... I'm out of the loop- I thought you couldnt do that! I had been waiting until after the combat rebalance to make use of my glowie-ness...
*runs back up to the village to experiment with FS skills that do what smuggler should already (vehicle controll, persuasion, luck)*

Dude! I wish I worked in the pr0n business. I'm a (very) lonely physics major who losses his cool when a girl even thinks about looking at him.

As far as your nerves with girls, the more you do it the better you get (just dont be fake about it). No fear my friend the chickies dig that.
