You can call it a coincidence if you like though I'd point to the uncanny nature of it in light of the past nearly two years of hopeless struggleand defening silence but...

I think we all need to recognize MistAgent as the;

Grandmaster of Persuasion,

Great Shaker of Trees,

Goddessof Forbidden Fruit of the Smuggler.

In my Most Humble Opinion it is she that has single-handedly shaken the forbidden fruit of years of Smuggler Hope from the most stubborn tree in the known galaxy.

Coicidence? I think not.

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Two years of "Soon"(TM), a harsh bunch of lies.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie"

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Dancers can't smuggle and neither can I.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Why are there Jedi, I don't know why.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

Yes... but don't forget Wes in there. It was his thread that started things up today.

Many thanks to them both.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

Yes, thanks to Wes for certain, I don't mean to diminish his effort.

However given what Mist was about to do and how fast SOE responded to that threat I think it is WAY beyond coincidence that we are getting what we're getting today.

It was nothing.

Honestly, I think I had a small part in it, but as a whole, they knew theyhad to get us something.

I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Read through MistAgent's post titled "I don't know how much of a fight I have...", down a bit on the list.

She is an editor for a gaming mag and threatened to write an article about two years of stalling on the smuggler revamp. Apparently she got a response from SOE nearly instantly, put under NDA and the next day we get info released.

I'd bet that wasn't just a coincidence...huh?

  1. It was more than "nothing".

  2. We are greatful for the part that you played, regardless of whether or not you think it was small.

  3. I was going to refer to you as "The Glorious Goddess of All Things Pink and Smuggly," but if Veela is all you want, then Ok.

/thank Veela and Wes
