Thread: My new way to not get people to complain about slice price

I changed my bio to this happy little message and strangely slice requests have gone up and complaints have dropped to nothing. In fact most of the time peope overpay me now 
Don't like my prices, don't ask for a slice. I charge between 10-15k a slice. 10k if it's a good day, 15k if you annoy me. Don't debate the price, just pay up or shut up. I've been a smuggler longer than 1/2 the people on Sunrunner have been playing so I don't need to hear a lecture on how I'll loose business by charging what I do. Don't ever make the assumption that I like slicing. In fact after 16+ months of doing it I hate it for the most part. If you are asking for a slice and I don't know you chances are I hate you as well.

thats great, Ido something similar. I have my prices in my bio and at the bottom it says :
"If you haggle with me the pirce doubles, if that makes you mad the price triples, if you feel the need to point out that it is not fair then the price quadruples. I dont need your business I value it and if I have to explain that statement to you then I dont value your business enough to bother slicing anything for you."
I find people examine me then walk away which is just what I want them to do.

The best is when they say they can get it from their "buddy" for cheaper. Well if they were their "buddy", why aren't they going to them?

Best thread I've read in a long time.
I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything at the time I first read it. If I would've been, I would now be explaining to my boss why I needed a new monitor and keyboard.

mine is very similar to these. goes like this:
I charge 5-10k per piece of armor and 10-15k per weapon. depends on how i feel and how nice/kind a person you are. you dont like it, I don't care. go spend the next three days trying to find another master smuggler. and don't tell me how I won't do business with these prices, or how your guildie charges less (if thats the case why on earth are you talking to me?), or how much u hate me cuz u don't wanna pay 10-15k for a permanent upgrade to your weapon.yet u will glady pay 10-15k for a set of buffs that only last three hours. My time is valuable, if u respect me, I will respect you. If u agree to all these terms, then alright, we should not have a problem. If you disagree to anything, just walk away. I provide the service, I don't need your creds, I make the rules. That all being said, perhaps we can proceed with a transaction if you are agreeable to everyhting. Have a nice day.
I don't even charge for slices less than 20%. And I have found this to help filter out the tells of "d00d, will u sl1ce ma ub3r 1337 weapon?11??1?" People who respect what I am trying to say are just fine with it, and I don't mind slicing for those people at all. They usually tip me more than my prices and become regular clients.
