Here are a few things that the new 30% Free MBHs can do...

MBH/MCH:

This guy is a badass and has some mean friends- He can sic a Toxic Merik Battle Lord on you andtwo other CL 10 pets (now I'm talkingnatural pets- not the BE'd ones which would allow him to pull out bigger and badder monsters w/armor resists). ThisBounty Dude could have his petsall over you while hebleeds you with hisCarb from a distance.

Something to think about is: "How many of them explode-a-droids would a MBH/MCH be able to pull out at one time?" If it were me- I would sic my Merik on you and explode two droids on ya while you were busy trying to shake off the Merik's poison. But that's just me.

MBH/MP- MBH/MC- MBH-MR

Yeah, the true Ranged Master. If a MBH masters oneof the ranged elites (Pistoleer, Carbineer or Rifleman) they do become a force tobe reckoned with. This Bounty Hunter would have some decent defenses and CRAZY weapon mods like +180 Carbineer Acuracy- but the best combo would be MBH/MP allowing for the fastest most deadly shots around (without tapes).

BH/Dabbler

This is the REAL fear-

A smart Bounty Lady might switch it up on ya take the best of the BH pistols line- throw in some pistoleer and smuggler's DF and you might be on the receiving end of Last Ditch at the speed cap (that is if they don't move LD to master).

In essence, as of Friday, a BH title is a scary thing to be on the wrong side of if you are not a jedi.

All the talk of changes is great, but let's all be realistic here. We are not going to get a revamp until at LEAST early 2005. That's more than 6 months away from now.

Why?

The revamp isn't happening until after the Space Expansion. The current target for release of the Space Expansion is "Fall 2004". That puts it right around October-November, in time for the Christmas buying season.

This means the revamp won't even be considered until January of 2005. And we all know that month will be reserved for fixing major bugs with JTL. So I say the revamp will not officially occur until March of 2005.

Now, if you are still excited that the Smuggler profession is getting a revamp in 7-8 months, then you have more optimism in your personality than I do. <grin>

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

I think the bounty hunters are going to keep busy with all the Jedi running around to deal with little ole' us...

Depends what the payout is for killing a smuggler

If its comparable to jedi bounties (which it shouldnt imo) then expect us to get into some nice fights.
