Ok... I didn't want to make any wild accusations, so I just went back through the entire Patch Notes board which goes back to Publish 13 in Feb.
The word "smuggler" appears in Tiggs' patch notes exactly twice. Once listing us as one of the professions eligible for the CU respec and once raising the faction cap.
That's it.
Everything.
In five months, the only thing they've done specifically for smugglers is raise the faction cap. And that doesn't even count because it was raised for everyone -- not just smugglers.
I've been trying to keep my spirits up but this is just pathetic.

I'm right there with ya, bro.
Not seeing any love for the Smuggs in the new patch notes kinda irked me. If it weren't for the fact that I have two years of experience being disappointed, I might have had a small hissy fit.

Well changing how slicing works and how it affects the "world"is a major task. I mean there are things in the "In concept" pages that have huge impacts on the overall game mechanics. Just give them a little more time we'll get our reward. In the meantime try this site to take your mind off things.

Crazy Japanese game that I find more addictive even though it is basically the same concept

Apparently we're just hated. I guess the bright side is that if they don't pay any attention to us, they can't Nerf us. they'd have to notice us first.

Hadn't Tiggs even said "Watch for more Smuggler stuff in the next week"? As for the In Concept stuff, its' all vaporware crap. None of that means ANYTHING till it's been hotfixed on the live servers. They've been shoveling us that garbage for years, you shouldn't believe a word of it till it's happened, broken, been fixed, been adjusted than fixed again.
Seriously finding it very difficult to have faith in the Devs... They owe us an apology by now if not actual work and content.

Have you even been playing the game since the CU went live? Ive been having more fun being a smuggler than ever before. We definitly got a lot with the CU.
Sure its not a specific smuggler upgrade, but if that is not a spirit booster, I don't know what is.
CU for smugglers != pathetic

Sad thing is, I'm kind of looking forward to it. I have nothing else to do besides watch the Jedi duel in the starports for 30 minutes without killing each other.
