Thread: anyone know a good creature/location to loot illegal core boosters...

as the title says i am having a very hard time tryin to find the illegal core boosters, i can manage to find everything but them.
any ideas on where i may have a good chance to loot them would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah... I think I read about it in many previous posts, but I don't recall off-hand. Maybe you could look up the posts.

What about the Delecate trigger assemblly??? Where do we loot them??

Krayts drop them, and they're fun to kill, too.

NightSisters drop them also the triggers that is. I have still to loot a core they are hard to get.

After completeing Rebel pilot and grinding through all 4 mil of tier IV by killing Tier IV Black Suns I got one illegal core booster.
What percent drop rate is that ... .0002%?

Well, I can tell you that I killed exactly 327 tier 4 Black Suns (note: apparently only tier 4's drop them, not tier 5's!), and also got just one core booster. So that would make for a rate of about 0.3%
But I know that others have killed MUCH more than that. Somebody even talked of 12 full Black Sun Duty missions, and also just one core booster. That would mean 840 kills (70 per mission), and a ratio of 0.12%
Sooo, if you charged 60k for a slice that used one of your own core boosters, I think you've been ripped off. Badly. They go for multiple 100k's on the trade boards...

I find them off tier 5 gunboats (both sides, I;m a neutral pilot) in kessel space. I've looted 6 off of 21 kills or a drop rate of 28%. /shrug

I looted one (ONE!) off a tier 3 Gotal ship in Kashyyyk space during the Imperial Station's destroy duty, and have never gotten another since, despite several days of trying.
