Thread: I know it is part of the risk but come on...
Jedi can cloak? I was not aware of that. It is risky to be sf at any time, but if this was a player camping at a recruiter waiting for someone to go sf, than that is dirty pool.
Was it a player jedi or NPC?
Go to your game options and turn on simple shadows. If you see a shadow on the ground, but no one standing there... it is a cloaked Jedi.
Some Jedi players are getting a kick outta camping recruiters... meh.

I had a person who asked to buy some faction and of course I said no problem. Went to what I thought was a secluded areawhere a recruiter was and the moment I went sf to delegate, a cloaked Jedi decloaked and killed me. Not much of a fight since I didn't realize what had happened until I was dead. I realize Jedi are a big part of the game due to their numbers, but this is just ridiculous. I did end up making the sale though, just had to go to another location.
So you have to be SF to sell FP, but do you need to be SF to buy it from a recruiter? or just overt?
To buy, you just have to be a combatant. To delegate you have to be full blown sf.

LOL, figures that would happen on our server. Just wait till you are overt and someone drops a turret beside you.

I gotta say, that really bothers me. The fact that they created the whole Combatant Tier was to stop griefing for the people who wanted to do faction-related actions, but not PvP. So why is it that I can do everything but sell faction at combatant? Makes no sense to me.
what really makes no sence is The loot droped slicing components. they should be player craftable.

Always, Always, Always have the customer pay you the money and then go SF. If its a 5k Fp purchase then i wont mind dieing after he tips me 500k, cause he wont be getting the FP from me for setting me up. lol. Had that happen to me once; the jedi was in the same guild as my customer so i kept the FP and the 500k tip and sent him a tell "i hope that death was worth your 500k" /addignore.
I wasn't setup, the customer had no idea what happened to me because it was so fast. Still made the sale and the customer gave me a little extra due to the death.
