Worst expansion ever. In the history of expansions. Even ones in pants.
This is the worst expansion EVER. It makes my soul hurt.

Don't knock the expansion until you've tried it. I was in beta, and I enjoyed the expansion more then I thought I would.

I wasn't saying that it's the worst expansion because of "fun level"
I hear huffing propane can be "fun"

most games entice people to buy an expansion by showing new races, new features, new worlds. They attract new players with images of brethtaking environments, and pride themselves on adding a whole new system of high end content. For the most part those expansions deliver.
SWG builds hype for an expansion by telling us about the phat loot that is there only if we buy their software. And the firday feature on the loot just shows the amount of effort put into the next installment. We can get our comp armo...I mean riot control helmet, or our purple padd..I mean mustafar padded armour. And for the little kids we can get that black jedi.. I mean jedi masters robe (which any jedi can wear regardless of mastery).
In all seriousness, that is why I am not interested in the expansion at all. I enjoy free roaming worlds where dungeons and overworld all are together without loading screens. I like the idea of having weaponsmiths vie for my buisness, by striving to craft the best weapons they can. If I wanted instances and loot drops, I would have honestly stayed in WoW. Its honestly implemented so much better over there and I get a jump button.
For me the expansion is just a last ditch attempt to suck some money off a shoddy film, and I refuse to participate. Wasnt it at fanfest they said Capital ships were so close etc...I would rather have epic boarding adventures than fight lava monsters and see some ghost.

Aside from a a grammar check or two (lol, jk), this is exactly how I feel on the subject, nearly to the T. And I played in beta, it was a bit of fun, but no more so than any other group-centric quests out there already. I just can't bring myself to pay that30 dollarprice tag for loot, andnot a lot of content, and no space. (I still can't figure out why it costs 30 dollars).Anyhoot, well said.

Well...there's hope for players like us who wont be purchasing this so called expansion; It's called Star Wars BattleFront II. There, players will be able to board Capital Ships. I believe Mustaffa(sp?) or whatever it's called, will also be a playable level as well...If you really feel you "have" to go there.
So... nogentelmen, SOE will not get my $30 for an extra couple of weapons & a ship; when for just $22 more I canhavethe "complete" Star Wars experience.

The A-wings in SWBF2 are fuuuuuunnnnnn.
And guess what, the Jedi in SWBF2 don't piss me off either. In fact, it was pretty fun. Especially Aayla.
