...Now I just realized that you get an invite to beta 3 and a badass naboo speeder for bookin' across the galaxy (anybody say "bookin'" anymore?).
Anyone know how or IF I can still qualify for these bennies?
I mean, I DID preorder. Got a receipt and everything! I just wanna get in on that beta.
Now, I posted this in the JTL forums but no solutions yet. Smuggler's got the smartest forum out there so I thought I would try here too.

The beta and speeder CD Bonus have been delayed. There was talk somewhere that is has been delayed until Mid October. Best bet is to call the Gamestop and ask them for a date of when it will be released (the Bonus CD). Others have mentioned that on the day it is available, you just go to Gamestop and they will give it to you.
*EDIT* Oops, I misunderatood. You don't get the Bonus when you pre-order in the shop? That would be lame to not get the bonus wouldn't it? I know online you can order for pickup at a local shop and you get the bonus.

You say you walked into GameStop, yes? It was my understanding you had to pre-order online to get the freebie. Maybe you can take it back to the store and order online ...

It is the speeder from episode 1 during the battle of theed. When Princess Amadala and the gang are escaping they walk behind it while a few guards sit and blast at some droids. It does have a turret on it, but I doubt it will work.

i preordered through my local gamestop store and theytold me i'd get the bonus disk. even said they would call me when it came in.

According to Gamestop and EB Games, if you pre-order under the bonus offer, the bonus disk will ship with JTL for all international customers. You only get the vehicle, the beta will obviously be worthless by then.

Yep. Same for Canada. The speeder can be ordered, but not the beta. I suspect it would have to do with the NDA and the legality of international law etc...

Make absolutely sure. I pre-ordered from the local GameStop, then found out about the bonus. I called and asked and they specifically said you had to pre-order online to get the bonus. In-store pre-orders would NOT get the bonus. I immediately cancelled my in-store pre-order and made another pre-order on the website.

I per-ordered from the store (walk in) almost 2 months ago, sucks that the bennie's are only with on-line orders but it does make sence.

Before purchasing online, I checked with gamestop and eb, both said that you could preorder in store and get a copy.
Yesterday I sent EBgames.com a moderately snarky email about the bonus disc not having shipped and it being just a few days before the "beta period"... they responded by telling me that my disc was shipping express that day and that i should have it in 24 hours.
