A Clock, somewhere in your visual field.
Not even being funny.
No buffs (well, no need for buffs) means there's no longer a built in timer on combat. We were out hunting until 2 am (I think the CU opened at like 8...)
So yea, if you're like me, and pop online at random times, say, before work/class in the morning, get a clock. Or you'll fail out of school/lose your job lol

But seriously - what about the 'buffs'? There's a bunch of icons below my name, all applied by a doctor, and no indication whatsoever when they end. What's up with that?

Yea we were out there killing meatlumps, dralls, and such for awhile. I didn't even realize it was 2AM (EST) by the time it looked like we were breaking up. Good thing I can easily sleep in most of my classes
BTW, butterflies are impossible to solo

Yeah! I checked out at 12:30am, and that was the reason. I knew if I didn't go then (as much asI wanted to stay), that I would lose track of tiem again, and end up not goign to bed until 2 or 3am.
I think if they just had a /time or /clock command to tell you the time it would be fine. EQ had that from the start, I don't see why they couldn't do it here.

In chat setings there is a option to time stamp all the messages on spatial etc.
