There no Elite trainers on TC5 for now.

Only basic professions (Scout, Brawler, Medic, Marksman, Entertainer)

All other trainers have been taken out.

This means there is no Smuggler Trainer.

That is followed by no slicing.

Final conclusion: I can't answer your question.

Basically what they have going on TC right now is the new character stuff, so people can test how hard it is to gain skills and comment, so the Devs can balance the basic professions before people start taking on the Elite professions.

Although I read somewhere that Commando has a blue frog now.

CU != Smuggler Revamp.

I think it'd be great if the revamp went in at the same time, but I don't think I've heard anyone mention that. I'm certainly not expecting it.

Anyone not jumping on the test center right now is probably a little slow in the head.

Even though you only get novice skills to start (and you get all of them) you can check out the skill trees for every profession, including the elite ones. BTW if you haven't already, spend all of your left over SP on combat profs. I hate to have to gointo the live Cyu with a bunch of SP to have to grind out.

Doing this now gives you at least a week or two to figure out your future template so you don't hve to waste tiem when the blue frogs go completely live.

Does anyone knowhow mnay players the test center can handle at one time?

As soon as the blue frogs go live I'm jumping on with my 2nd toon to do MWS and MAS. My 1st is now working the novice marksman pistols and ranged lines along with thebrawler unarmed lines.

Is the message that says "All US servers are up except... Test Centre" a blatant lie, or am I the unluckiest little wannabe tester in Christendom? Because I have yet to log on and not see Test Centre in the list of offline servers

TC5 is the TestCenter server the CU is on...not the original TestCenter.

Try logging into TC and creating a toon in TC5. It should be up.

I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

No, not a lie, just misleading to the uninformed.

The server called "Test Center" is indeed down and has been since last week (I'll cry about that elsewhere)

The server called "TC5" is up and functioning with the CU based code in all its trainerless glory.
