I have to agree. I've been lurking since SWG went live, and I like the way questions are generally answered first, flamed later. As opposed to Flame first, apologize, and then answer the question.
I just got my novice box and am looking forward to playing the smuggler in game (Old school RP'er here 
) and becoming a more vocal part of the community in general.

I have to agree that this is a good community. I disagreed with some people in a pricing thread, and actually had an argument, opposed to getting flamed.

I love this community too. Ioften find myself in greatdebates that don't revolve around flaming each other...
While we may not reach a solution we both agree with, we can still joke around with each other in a different thread at the same time we are arguing in another... I don't see that happening much in other forums.

Got to agree with you guys. I love coming to the Smuggler Board. It is the opposite end of the spectrum fromthe Bria forum (The Jerry Springer Show of SWG forums).

You want to check the opposite end of the spectrum from here? For 5 minutes, take a look at the Battle.net Forums for Worlds of Warcraft. You don't even want to touch your keyboard much less post there -eeuuugh! - It's like the 90th Level of Hell over there.
5 minutes there and I felt SO proud to be a member of this forum!

Droid Engineer and Pistoleers are nice guys too (Was DE and am still Pistoleer).
Everyone here seems quite nice, although when I first came here I got accused of being a hologrinder, I think its cos I asked if there was a faster way to go up sliceing 0-1 and 1-2, because it was very hard getting containers at 0-1 and then 1-2 you can only slice terminals and containers were still hard to get and mission terminals XP sucked and you had to wait 2 mins each time.
Then I explained about my self and the guy said sorry. Hehe.
I do love being a Smuggler though, you get some nice fighting parts, some nice manufactureing parts (Just the right balance, you do not have to worry about needing rare materials that spawn once every 3 months, you do not have to mine a material for 3 months before you can make your product, and you do not have to make 1,000,000 sub-components before you can make your product, all of which Droid Engineers have to do, which is why I quit)and some nice GCW perks.
