Thread: Smuggler only weapons?

Are there any smuggler only weapons? For example, the Republic Blaster requires Master Pistoleer and the Scatter Pistol requires Master BH. Are there any weapons that requires Master Smuggler to use? And are there any fun weapons for smugglers in ROTW?

I think they should make a Modified DL-44 and have its requirements be Master Smuggler

The Renegade Pistol is the Master Smuggler weapon.
In RotW there is the "Quicktrigger Countermand" which looks like a martian ray guy from the 50's and shoots lightening. Its a loot drop that requires Underworld 3.
There is also "The Black Falcon" for which being a smuggler is needed to take the quest. (From the smuggler wook in the Myyydril{sp?) cave in the dead forest) Its not profession certed though.
If you search around the forums there are pictures and stats for all three someplace.

The renegade's pretty cool. I got me one with accuracy bonus of 17. It sounds just great, (a break from sharper toned weps) looks cool, but a preCU featherweight or preCU metal DL 44 usually outdamages it, but so far its my fastest gun- I'm not so accurate with just pistols 3000 so fast I like.
black falcon, its really not too practical with its DPS if your a master smug. If your an upcoming smug like CL30 it is practical. It looks like an exact replica of han solo's DL 44, scuff marks and all.
Quicktrigger some ppl dont like how it looks but I love mine cuz it makes me look that more alien. Its the pistol I most walk around with, its FX are cool looking but its dmg really sux. Its just for shooting fun w/ naboo police and such, or dive shot with it on a mobs last bit of health.
The renegade is just mean looking and not that bad of a pistol if you find one with good accuracy bonus. I consider it my last ditch gun against someone in comp.

Golrok is right the Renegade just screams 'dont even THINK about it'. The sound and the look are awesome, but your standard Feathwerwieght 5...with all the bonuses it gives, and higher damage, is more practical for any smugg.

My Renegade does more dps than my per CU featherweight FWG and my converted DL44xt. But the mods I get with the FWG makes it my weapon of choice for grinding. The renegade does sound cool as heck.

I don't think I've unequipped my Renegade yet...I can't help it. I just love that weapon.

gotta love sentimental attachments to weapons.
I know a Commando who refuses to let their FlameThrower go, even to have it repaired...hehe.

Shhh...keep it under your hat, but my Republic Blaster? I'm only novice pistoleer (I had the choice and the sp's to master smuggler and novice pistoleer or the other way around) and...I have it equipped.
More weird? I can equip my DE-10!
What can I NOT equip? My DX2! But...that is O-KAY.
I'm using my Republic until it kicks the bucket, its DPS is sheer pure madness, I love it to pieces. Maybe literally!
And my Renegade? LOVE IT.

They did, it's called the DL-44 XT (looks like the metal DL), in CU beta it was a master pistoleer weapon, then it was moved to master smuggler, but now I think it's just a CL certed weapon... either way it does good damage, and just looks sharp... I was usuing a metal DL before it was good

It just seems that other profs have some nice "[enter profession here]only" weapons...while smugglers don't.
Maybe I should look into getting a Renegade Pistol?

One thing i DONT like about the renegade pistol is its looks.
I'd say what i think it looks like, but then my post would be deleted.
