...they changed the prereque's so you would need to have a line in two of these three basic professions-
Artisan
engineering IV
Business IV
Marksman
Pisols IV
Rifles IV
Carbines IV
Brawler
Unarmed IV
One Handed IV
Two Handed IV
Pole Arms IV
In this scenario our specials would depend on how you got to Smuggler.
If you took One Handed and Carbines- you would be able to do our DF specials with a sword or a carbine.
If you took Business you would be able to drop a contraband Vendor.
If you took Engineering you would be able to Refine spices that were crafted or smuggled.
I think I would drop unarmed and pick up business-
Or maybe go for the hardcore Combat Smuggler and do Master fencer, Master Pistols Master Smuggler and do the engineering thing.
Still thinkin' on it.
What would you do?

I would keep pistols and then play through all others until I like one enough to keep long. Most likely Fencer.

I would probably go with the Business line, but I haven't played the Triple Master yet.

Triple master is fun, but over rated. With only master pistoleer, you will do poor damage with pistols. This leaves you as a TKM with slightly better defenses, all the glories of being a smuggler, and a BB gun should you happen to fight at a range.
It is fun though being versatile, smooth, and absolutely sexy

you get good guns and get yourself speed capped and triple master actually becomes viable in pvp
throw DoT'ed pistols and VKs that are out there on the top of that pile, and you've got many ways to fight.
One of the best PvP'ers on our server was a triple master until he joined the Army Rangers and quit the game. Course, he had the absolute best gear ever....

Right now I am rockin' Master Swords- however I would like to make my gunmanship a little better but I don't know if it is worth it.
I like how melee lets you break someone down. Especially working someone's mind bar with a few head hits and droping a mind bleed on them.
the CURB might change a lot for me.
I have interest in Fencer as well as Master Pistols.
I really need to get off the stick and unlock! Then I can play with some of these other Templates on my server...
Damn a second slot would be a great Vet Reward.

I like tripple master. I am not bad at anything I can PVE well and PVP enough to be a help. can't duel well or solo as well as a swordsman/doc or a def stacker but then since i rarely PVP alone its not afacor.

At the minute I'd be in the artisan line. Master Smuggler, Master Shipwright, then the rest in merchant. As I have now.
My next emplate change will probably be to Master Smuggler, Master Pistoleer, Novice Medic rest in Merchant, this will probably be my Post Curb template on Kenney till I see how it feels.
I'd like to try Fencer and Carbine at some point. I was going to do Fencer before I got into Merchant which I don't think I can drop now
I'll most likely go Carbines on Tig post - Curb leaving Kenney Simi-retired from combat ![]()

As much as I love my Master Weaponsmith tag (which I'm dropping to try the Triple Threat Temp), I can't see grinding it again after grinding it with my alt now also. I'd probably go Master Smuggler/Master Pistols/Novice Medic/and as much merchant as I could get.

One more note... I think Ranged Support should be on there based on the DF line. Most of the skills in that tree are suppresion and evasion type skills which is what our DF tree is supposed to give us.

I beat the crap out of most people and things and when they run or if I run I have a DE-10 to drop them or keep them at bay. I dont think its over rated I think it's more a game play style then anything else and triple threat for me has been for the most part unstoppable.
