not give a reasonable answer as to when the smuggler revamp will be .....evena "we dont know" answer would be pacify the community i think

I rather doubt "We don't know." would satisfy us all that much...
Their policy seems to be not to give a 'date' until they think they know internally when that will be. So, basically by saying nothing at all they are saying they don't have a clue themselves.
I know it seems hard to believe but I suspect Smuggler Revamp will be scheduled internally when they don't see any more pressing issues on their plate. Unfortunately from my perspective anything at all is more important than we are and will get inserted before us.

"We don't know" would be preferable to being strung along, ignored, or mislead, because at least for once it would be the truth. We wouldn't like it because it's a crappy truth, but getting what is a "real" answer would at least be... nice.

Because we have to "slice" into their system to discover the secret word to unlock the Smug Revamp. Once someone accomplishes that, the revamp will be published live the next day. Only problem is you need to slice in the forums, and until there is a good spawn of copper on the forums, we cant make the tools we need to slice the forums.

baaa jsut use the veteran item to get the 1000% malablity copper, and slice away

what would mallablity have to do with smuggler tools....? even the non functioning experimentation we DO get deals with conductivity.
that being said....i think his point was a spawn of copper HERE on the forums not IN GAME
and i for one think the "Slicing" the forums was a very funny light hearted way of expressing the dejection we all feel at having been ignored for so long

Aw, man! Don't you know that tool quality (and therefore quality of resources used in the tools) doesn't matter when slicing?!
The problem is we need the Forum Slicing skill that's in the Master Box, but since there's no text in the Master Box, we haven't the skill, without the skill, we'll get no text, without the text we get no skill...

Fortunately Tralita it seems they're tracking the one-star bandits now and maybe we'll see them getting their just rewards.
