Thread: Jedi serve a VITAL role in the SWG project...

Now i know many of you dont think so, you feel there are too many, and that they are unbalanced, that they ruin the game for everyone else.
Now these things may all be true, and for some time now i thought that may have been just poor game design or even interference from marketing suits trying to sell more product whithout staying true to the source material, but i have come to realise that this is not the case. In fact their presence and proliferation in the game is carefully designed to serve the greater ideals of truth and balance.
We all grew up watching and hearing about the starwars saga and mostly took it at face value the Lord Vader was a villain and a very cool one at that, but a villain none the less. Sure luke skywalker was dorky as all get out but he was a good kid and Han liked him well enough so he had to be the hero. Truth is though history is written by the victors. When the Terrorist organisation known as the rebel alliance gained control of the empire and rebranded it the new republic they of course put forth their propaganda machine to re-colour the entire conflict in their favor.
But luckily the integrity and courage of the folks at SOE is legendary and they wont allow themselves to be used as pawns. Now they couldnt very well openly oppose this rebel juggernaut but they are crafty folk and devised a cunning solution.
In order to demonstrate that Lord Vader was in fact a hero for illiminating the jedi menace they put together SWG in such a way to demonstrate what the galaxy would have been like if he did NOT destroy the jedi. Now who can sit in any cantina in any major city, or travel through any starport and not see in a way more vivid than words can describe why ALL the jedi had to die.

Imperial Order 66 needs to be put into place within the game in a very forceful manner then.

So very true, thank you SOE for helping me understand why I'm an Imperial, even though I'm a rodian. Long live Lord Vader.
Now, back to the keg.

or they could spawn hundreds of darth vaders level 500 with all the jedi trees and have them chase down and attack all the jedi on each server (causing skill box loss instead of points)
haha thats never going to happen but boy would it be cool to see 6 vaders in theed serving the jedi dueling there

We mustn't forget to give the Emperor his due here, He would surely have forseen this future and guided Vader on the propper path...

I'd love to see a massive purge of the jedi by the Imperial forces, and I'm a rebel, but to be fair the purge would have to include darksiders!

Absolutely what better way to bring balance to the force than by wiping them all out!
