What pistol should I be using with Master Smuggler? I'm not a master pistoleer too, just a master smuggler with a CL of 76.

Depends on how good the weaponsmith is.... and if you use krayt tissues.... etc.

I use a High Capacity Scatter pistol. With MBH/MS/Pistoleer 4-0-0-0 and a speed power up I do almost 750dps and have a 71 SAC. I have some FWG5's in that area also.

DL44 XT's can be good with the right Krayt Tissue, but the best I've seen as a non- master pistoleer , master smuggler (only 4-1-0-4 pistoleer) would be the Ion Stunner Pistol from the Avatar Platform. Base DPS unsliced is 332, which beats all the Krayt DL44's I've seen. Only thing is, can only loot the blasters from Avatar once per person as they're considered a quest item.

sliced and PU'ed, i end up with a mod DPS of 722, which tops some rifleman BH I've seen, and I haven't even taken FS Ranged Speed yet.

The Featherweight FWG5 is potentially the best pistol ingame. For2 reasons

its dam cap is 966 (the highest for pistols)

it has an inbuild +15 pistol accuracy

You need nice shards to cap 160+, but then youll have a very nice pistol

Agreed! I love my Gorax Featherweight FWG5!

And in response to Brindan's post... DPS isn't everything. I think most people realize that by now though.

Best pistol I found so far to use was a DL44XT. Don't remember the actual stats but the SAC was low, my modified DPS was high, and the speed was more than adequate for any weapon i've ever used.

I'm definately a DL44XT man.

Well that just depends on the WS abilities and the enhancers availaable. The fact is that The Featherweight is the pistol that has the potential to be the best.

Then again if you have 150+ tissues and only 80+ shards then DL44XT is of course the way to go

I'm a renegade man as far as pistols are concerned. I find myself using my DC-15 clone rifle more than anything though.
